there would not be much difference in gas cost or insurance cost between the two, especially on insurance at your age. I had an ecoboost for about a month or 2 then traded for a GT. GT is much better choice in sound and engine and probably holds value better and those ecoboost blow up sometimes...
Thanks, yeah most info I have read says the spacers are safe, just never used them before. still deciding what I want to do if anything lol. what brand spacers did you use?
Have been looking at options on what I want to do to get a better fitment on my winter wheel setup. First option I was researching 25mm eibach wheel spacers for my 19x9 PP1 wheels. still not sure on using spacers or not.
second option was going to a RTR Tech 5 19x9.5 wheel with better offset but...
Have been thinking of maybe using some 25mm Eibach wheel spacers on my 19x9 squared PP1 wheels with 265/40R19 Micheline Pilot Sport 4 A/S tires to make them more flush with fender line. have never used wheel spacers before and kinda unsure how safe and good they are. Is Eibach probably the best...
Did some research on the Radio Paradise app and looks like they play a lot of older and newer music, they have their playlists online, I don't think I am going to like a lot of the songs they play, will give it a try later on way home. probably go with pandora as you can put in what artists you...
Today Tidal Music shut down its free version, so I was going to go to Pandora, have used it before. But then did some googling and came across the radio paradise app, online people say it is very good and good sound quality and no commercials and free. Has anyone used this and how do you like...
Yeah I watched a couple youtube videos by a car stereo shop guy and he said just installing aftermarket speakers may make it sound worse because the stock amp does not have the power to drive the better speakers. so yeah he said need an amp also. think i am going to leave mine stock for now...
Hey, I reset my radio settings and think it sounds better, if you want to try them. have treble +2, midrange -2, bass +2, balance and fade center, sound optimized for driver, and speed compensation high. sounds like its not distorting now, having the bass too high i don't think the speakers liked.
yeah I had not researched car audio in many years, so all the stuff the car shop was saying had me bit confused on all the options. how bout you try changing your speakers out first and let us know how you like it lol . i keep adjusting my bass, treble, mid about every day driving to work seeing...
yeah I am going to do more research and think it over, it is not a lot of money but the stock system doesn't sound terrible either if you give it a good quality music app. plus I will probably be trading in 2 years or little less when my warranty is about up and probably get a S650 GT. wonder if...
thanks, so if I went with the Dieci 2 way speakers with the tweeter built in, would they just disconnect the factory tweeters? looks like those are the best 2 way speakers Hertz has, be less cost for installation that way too not having to replace the separate tweeters. they said they can also...
Emailed the local car stereo shop and they use Hertz speakers, anybody here use those? have several price points of speakers too. did a little research and the Cento line is recommended, they have a 6.5 inch door woofer C 165 for $200, then would still use the stock tweeter.
the other choices...
I had read that tidal free was close to CD quality, just did a google search on the subject and read on Reddit people recommend Radio Paradise as high quality free, may try that if Tidal free goes away. so many different music apps anymore lol.
was going to tell you I did try some wireless headphones for my blu ray player, remembered my Dad had a set of the Sony tv headphones that use RF signal for the wireless, he never used them, they are kinda old but seem to sound good. just connected the RF receiver box straight to blu ray player...
Yeah I read that Tidal free may be going away in April, not sure I want to pay for music, what other free app would you recommend to sound good? I have tried free spotify recently and did not think it sounded good. thanks. hopefully Tidal changes their mind on getting rid of the free version...
Good recommendations, I agree. I may replace the speakers and put some sound deadening in, thinking it over more. yeah been using the Tidal music app the last couple weeks and it has been playing quite a few rock bands I had not heard before, most are pretty good, some sound better than others...
Could also do a combination of new door speakers with some sound deadening, still thinking it over, trying to get a quote for installation, does not look too difficult on youtube videos. also, been adjusting the stock sound settings and think it sounds pretty decent. have bass at +5, treble 0...
