Thanks guys monday I’m swapping to the gates I’m fairly confident it was the belt as well then all I have to do is wait for my tuner to fix the random shut off at start and the car will actually be finished

It does it at idle then calms down started after changing to 120mm pulley they didn’t have a gates belt it’s on its way but want to confirm that’s the issue

I’m having same issue did my Ess install put Wengerd tuner on and this randomly happens on 5th revision . Vacuum good af good nothing standing out that I can see but still does it

125mm and matching belt can’t find the paper at the moment but it was the appropriate one for the pulley

I just installed my g3 and ran fine then sounded like knock for a second but realizing it’s a slight belt slap I’ve check ribs and routing but it randomly belt slaps at idle anyone has this issue

I’m really considering an ess g3 set up or vortech palm beach has them for 6g and change but I know that’s another thread

Ok so it’s with compliance I’m in South Carolina we don’t have inspections of any type this is good to know maybe I can find a deal then

I know maf is places slightly different but with a new intake it wouldn’t matter but the price difference is 8399 to 8799 so when I can buy a 18-21 used kit for 5 grand I want to jump on that but it’sa rush for it to not fit

I’m asking because I’ve purchased a 22 5.0 and have found amazing deals on used superchargers yet American muscle says they won’t fit my 22 . What is the difference and is it something I could retrofit and still come out on top , specifically referencing roush stage 2 kit
