  1. Motor Oil Price

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil (5-Quart, Case of 3) https://a.co/d/gp7KHDt Here's the deal if it still is available. Said only 18 available. But Amazon is notorious for changing prices multiple times a day.
  2. What's the optimal rim width for 275/35R20 tires?

Not trying to doubt your research, but I'm not sure the .25 of an inch you are raising the car will make that big of a difference on the speed bumps.
  3. What part is this found in my drivers side foot well

Screw cover for the hood release lever.
  4. MT-82 second gear lockout about 7000rpm

Yeah my 22 GT 300a has it. I believe all 22 have it along with line lock and launch control. I had to concentrate very hard to make myself hold the gas down the first time. It goes against everything I've done my whole life in a manual car. But yeah it's pretty nice once you get used to it...
  5. Ford threadlockers?

To try and right this ship and get back to the question ask about threadlocker, the pink is low strength, blue is medium strength, and red is high strength. Each color has a few different variations for primered, primerless, high temp, etc. There is also a green wicking grade that can to be used...
  6. The more I see the S650s, the more I know I've had my last Mustang for the foreseeable future

The front is growing on me. It still is not as good looking as my 22. The rear is odd shaped and definitely not to my liking. I have actually went to the dealership and sat in a new Gt premium with the single wrap around screen. It actually looks decent and layout is nice when you are seated in...
  7. Can’t shift into Reverse

In my opinion, the dealership should have their butts whipped for not changing it when the put the new clutch in. I am in the belief that an internal slave cylinder should be changed any time a new clutch is installed. What is another $150 part when doing a clutch job? It could have saved time...
  8. Virginia 2022 GT Engine Bay Cover - $50

Is this still available and are you willing to ship north central WV?
  9. Need help! Stripped vent plug

These work really well. Kind of hard to find. They are tapered. Tap in with a hammer and use a wrench or socket to remove. I use them often at work. You could also try drilling through the center of plug and then use an easy out. I prefer the square easy outs, but that is just a personal...
  10. What are leftover 2023 GT Premiums going for at the moment?

Looks like Ourisman in VA is running about $5k to $6k off sticker at the moment.
  11. Is water leak from exhaust piping normal or an issue?

    I learned something new today.
  12. Is water leak from exhaust piping normal or an issue?

Factory exhaust is one continuous pipe from in front of the resonator to the tail pipe. When a x of h pipe is installed, or an aftermarket exhaust, it must be cut. This leaves a place for the moisture to escape. A lot of the x or h pipes and aftermarket exhaust, just clamp together on the rear...
  13. Won’t start when pressing clutch

I haven't look at the location of the switches either but sounds like maybe a loose switch or connection. I'd make sure everything is plugged in completely. My 18 F150 had 38k miles on it when the plastic pin that holds the brake petal to the linkage fell and hit my foot while going down the...
  14. Look........ an S650 in the wild!

If you can't look at your own link and see the difference, then it may be time for some glasses. The only view that makes it somewhat similar is the side view, because it overlays the 2. You could do and overlay of a Ferrari and a Vette and be similar. Doesn't mean they look the same, but each...
  15. Do you use rev matching for track?

When you have a size 14EE foot, heel toe shifting is a little harder. Lol. The room for 2 boats in the floor well is limited. 😂.
  16. Why do my rear studs keep breaking off?? They’re torqued to spec!

Very good point. This would also cause the same issue of not allowing the rim to seat fully.
  17. Why do my rear studs keep breaking off?? They’re torqued to spec!

Hard to tell from the video but lots of times you can rotate the hub assembly and remove the studs at the opening where the caliper was at. If they won't clear the bolting flange of the wheel bearing, you will have to remove the wheel bearing from the hub. No offense but from the sounds of it...
  18. Why do my rear studs keep breaking off?? They’re torqued to spec!

Those rims are not hub eccentric. They are trying to use a plastic spacer/shim to make them that way. I am not a fan of that but that's just me. With the damage that appears on the mating surface of the rim to rotor, the spacers, and the wear on the lug nut sears in the rims, I would personally...
  19. Why do my rear studs keep breaking off?? They’re torqued to spec!

Op I would highly recommend an extensive examination of your rims. If a car pulled up beside you an saw your wheel whopping, I'm betting that you have damaged the seat in the rims. If this is the case, you may never get the correct clamping force on the lug nuts. Also, make sure when you...
  20. Why do my rear studs keep breaking off?? They’re torqued to spec!

I've had my share of training on fasteners and you are correct. Fabroy, which is one of the largest fastener companies in the world, recommends in stages of 3. 1/3, then 2/3, then full torque.
