  1. Peninsula (Va.) crew checking in

Hai guise, already a 'Stang owner, currently in a S197. I'v loved 'stangs since i was a kid. I'm currently waiting on a Magnetic/Ebony GT.
  2. where are all of my Richmond, VA owners at?

Grew up in Midlo, now Peninsula crew.
  3. Unlocking the mustang without a key?

My girlfriend's accord works the same way. The only problem (and this may go more for women than for men, unless you're one of the trendy hipsters with your manpur- er, satchel) is that you get so used to not having to use the key for anything they can get misplaced relatively easily.
  4. 2015 Mustang Secret OEM Feature

Now GPS projected the windshield would be nutz. Lame, but nutz. I don't understand why people need GPS in the first place.
  5. 2015 Mustang Secret OEM Feature

    roflmao In-car frappucino machine.
  6. Taillights - Bad Design?

I don't really care about cleaning the tails, there is a way to clean anything. I like the design and looks like you can get a cloth in there just fine. I see cars straight of dealer lots looking like that and worse. I am a detail nut. I didn't get to full detail my ingot silver '14 until...
  7. 2015 Mustang Revealed (First Official Images)! Via Autoweek Magazine

In light of that comment, overall dash center console shape and circular vents appear to cues from the P-51 control panel.
  8. 2015 Mustang Revealed (First Official Images)! Via Autoweek Magazine

I dig it. I'm sure the GTs will look better, so I'll go out on a limb and say I'm getting a '16 GT PP in black on black. My girlfriend said she wishes she'd gotten a stang instead of her accord, maybe she'll want mine... BTW, I was helping a friend move his elderly friend's treadmill when the...
  9. 15 Mustang debut venues for each city

I like Freddy's idea. Maybe re-create some of the chase scenes in the original "Gone in 60 Seconds" and "Bullitt".
  10. 2015 Mustang interior: Gauge, Instrument Cluster, Center Console Pic!!

maybe the tach location is a reflection that paddle shifters will be the most-sold option and having two hands on the wheel at positions lower than 10 and 14 won't obstruct the view...
  11. Our 2015 Mustang Preview Derived From CAD Designs

Maybe I'm just hoping too much that even though it's going global, it'll still be distinctivel "mustang". It looks too homogenised, like every car on the road nowadays that looks like every other car on the road. I see a Passat in my rearview and I can't tell if it's a Camry or an Impala...
  12. Our 2015 Mustang Preview Derived From CAD Designs

I'm not trying to denigrate what obviously was a very diligent labour of love by our resident, very talented artist, but if this truly reflects what is coming from Flat Rock, I'm not too enthused about the looks. Better be tons more performance from a RWD Accord look-alike with a slightly...
  13. Leaked: 2015 Mustang front end in even more production form

This. Also, look at how much bigger the average adult is over the past fifty years (mostly fatter, but there are some like me who are big because we hit the gym on a regular basis). And when I saw a BOSS 429 parked next to my '14, how much lower it is and how low that motor was in the bay...
  14. 2015 Mustang Interior Shows Paddle Shifters, Push Button Start, BLIS, C Pillar, etc.

My mind's eye extrapolates the C-pillar out to a distance that doesn't seem too much longer than the shelf on the S197. I don't think a hatch would be in the cards, at least from the picture of the back seat/ C-pillar/ shelf on page 1, ninth picture.
