My girlfriend's accord works the same way. The only problem (and this may go more for women than for men, unless you're one of the trendy hipsters with your manpur- er, satchel) is that you get so used to not having to use the key for anything they can get misplaced relatively easily.
I don't really care about cleaning the tails, there is a way to clean anything. I like the design and looks like you can get a cloth in there just fine.
I see cars straight of dealer lots looking like that and worse. I am a detail nut. I didn't get to full detail my ingot silver '14 until...
I dig it. I'm sure the GTs will look better, so I'll go out on a limb and say I'm getting a '16 GT PP in black on black. My girlfriend said she wishes she'd gotten a stang instead of her accord, maybe she'll want mine...

Also, look at how much bigger the average adult is over the past fifty years (mostly fatter, but there are some like me who are big because we hit the gym on a regular basis).
And when I saw a BOSS 429 parked next to my '14, how much lower it is and how low that motor was in the bay...
My mind's eye extrapolates the C-pillar out to a distance that doesn't seem too much longer than the shelf on the S197. I don't think a hatch would be in the cards, at least from the picture of the back seat/ C-pillar/ shelf on page 1, ninth picture.
