All good. On mine there was no way it was happening with the active shutters in the car and the way they are installed you would have to remove the bumper anyways. I just popped off the bumper and swapped it real quick. Took about 30 minutes.

for the life of me I couldn’t figure out which clips you were referring to for the “vertical” ones. So I did the rear GT and the 5.0 badges then washed the car today. Going to just take the bumper off tomorrow for the horse emblem.

I am pretty mechanically savvy. Should be no issues I can foresee. To me, yes it’s worth it to not use tape. I really don’t like chrome but the car was a steal and I wasn’t going to turn it down over a little chrome I can swap out.

I appreciate the input guys. I really would prefer to use the pins so I guess I’m taking off my bumper. Way she goes I guess.

I don’t care to keep it, but the new emblem uses the same factory retaining clips to hold it on. No tape, so I’ll need to have access in order to secure the new one unfortunately.
