another user on here said/mention a shop on auburn blvd. that supposedly did all kinds of coil overs installs and air rides...i found out most shops won't do any custom alignment such as getting the -0 toe spec, so you don't get the inside part of the front tires all chewed up...best bet is to...
The puck thing you refer to is the regular pad that's attached to the lift itself. I was alluding that a jacking rail is supposed to be there to protect the weld. As you see in picture, it really doesn't do that unless you move the arms of the lift post...which isn't a good idea...you don't want...
Hey I know I've been posting/asking questions a lot last few days, currently waiting for an aluminum shifter bezel, wheels spacers and a response from a forum member on a pair of rear wheels that I will possibly picked up the weekend if he decides to sell.
That being said i want to protect the...
I'm sure the correct #s are on the internet somewhere one of the reasons I don't like going to the dealers... can't do anything unless you provide the vin of your car...just tell them to pull up the main "catalog" or file of 350s and they'll see the part #
Anybody around central valley (Sacramento, bay area, fresno) with a nice set of pp1 rear wheels in nice condition (no bends, cracks or curb rash, no tires needed) that is interested in selling let me know.
And long shot....Also interested in gt350 all 19x10.5 ( 4 fronts, same good condition not...
no problem with people going Lth, or catless, yup i admit is obnoxious when you drive and then they pull up next to you wanting to race, but if you get away with it, that's fine. I know for experience on my diesel truck....2400 dollars later for a cat and downpipe. Wasn't worth it.
I had a set of spline low profile and were not big enough, they would sit inside the whole a bit actually, then the big gorilla one i compared to the stock and it is just a bigger cone shape maybe it's me but I'll keep the stock ones. I know people say they "fall apart"...so far mine look as the...
Yup. Lots of YouTube videos of guys with gas or diesel vehicles going to shops and removing the emissions set ups, and when you watch the videos and other vehicles there they all have Cali plates, and then look at the name of the shops and most are around Los Angeles/ metro areas, definitely...
I know this may sound dumb since you are in ca. like myself, but during cold freezing nights that can affect the electronics or things like that. Just a thought. It happens.
My only concern with the gorilla ones and the smaller profile spline is that the mating surface of those lug boys looks nothing like the Ford oem lugs. The gorilla ones are just like this cone shaped. Have a feeling over time they would ruin the holes of the wheel
That only tells you that we are paying too much for pp1 or pp2. And not getting our money worth. Love my car but I don't think a strut bar and staggered wheels should be labeled performance pack.
Leaving it overnight, level surface would give the most accurate reading....strut bar in my opinion is not necessary....not like we are driving at the limit anyway. Take the strut bar off. We don't drive our cars hard enough for it to make a difference.
In my opinion that is.
Thanks apparently a 5mm spacer? If I'm correct will be enough to clear up front if I put rear rims up front. Which is like 3/16 of an inch and 6 mm is just a tad less than 1/4 of an inch. Might look like a Chevrolet 4x4 with the front wheels a little out but I'm done with staggered set up...
Make sure you log the miles..... don't want some young kid they pluck from wyotech or one of these schools to be "testing diagnosing" your car. And make sure when they are done they fill you up with oil correctly
