I have the same issue with harsh downshifts, mostly when coming to a stop or after braking and trying to take off again. I did however discover that I think the 1-2 shift noise is normal. My brothers raptor equipped with the 10 speed makes the same noise.

When coming to a stop or starting from a stop, I have noticed a strange almost grind like noise coming from the car only on the 1st - 2nd shift. I contacted the dealer, because the car like to be jumpy in lower gears and when coasting to a stop, but they are months behind. I recorded this noise...

Interesting. The specs say they are different sizes.

I'm considering purchasing some cs5's for my car, but I saw the hub diameter for the wheel was different from the s550. Did you add a hub centric ring to negate that?
