  1. Why did you buy an automatic? (and why I ordered a 6spd)

This topic continues to pop up and the debate will go on forever, or atleast until they stop producing 8 cylinder engines with manual transmissions which may actually happen in the near future. All the points are valid. I own the manual transmission because I live in the suburbs and rarely...
  2. 10.06 @138! But something fishy with trans

Wait….another Tremec tranny issue. Second in as many days!
  3. Lost 3rd at the track

Is this the start of a Tremec transmission issue that we are going to hear about for the next several years? I have still yet to come across anyone personally that has had a problem with the MT-82 since the improvement. I sometimes think forum posters have a type of hypochondria except with...
  4. 2019 Mustang GT MT82 Clutch/trans issue

42K miles Sounds like you need a new clutch
  5. It's happened, the famous OEM lug nut fail...

Pretty arrogant aren’t you. Personally, mine broke when the tire shop mounted my new tires. Regardless of the 14 thousandths of an inch, it is a stupid design.
  6. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

They refunded me and told me to Keep the plug. Good outcome.
  7. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

I ordered this thing on Monday morning direct from UPR. I ordered 3 day priority and the shipped out late. I emailed them and the were rude and unhelpful. Buy something else because these people are not worth your business. I will be returning it if it ever arrives. I ordered it so I could...
  8. New to the Forum with questions

I am 57 and I have a 2020 GT. If you search the forums you will see a myriad of issues but that is pretty common with these forums. The people with issues are the most vocal when most of us have no problems with our cars. I have had mine for a while now and I have NO ISSUES. Some have said there...
  9. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

I am too afraid to take a chance on something like that. My luck the magnet would fall off and end up in my engine.
  10. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

This is the one with the valve, you turn clockwise and it opens the valve and drains the oil
  11. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

The green part is the part that turns and opens. One of the pictures is NOT a valve, the other one is.
  12. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

They are available via Amazon, CJPonyparts, lethal peformance, and direct on the UPR website. If you google UPR oil plug they will all come up.
  13. Yellow colour

That is definitely a question for yourself to answer. I have had orange cars twice, a white car a a handful of black cars. I got sick of the white car and the maintenance on black but never the orange.
  14. Yellow colour

I have had lighter color cars and darker/black cars. I 100% can say that the lighter color cars are WAY easier to keep clean and you don't notice the small amounts of dust as easy. A black car will show every molecule of pollen, dust, dirt etc.
  15. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

That is the oil plug I posted bout, well a version of it anyway. The UPR oil plug has a magnet on the bottom and twists in like the OEM. It has a valve that you can open and close to get oil flow without removing the plug totally. It also allows for a 1/2" tube to be attached to direct the oil...
  16. ~ New 2019 Mustang GT Owner ~

Jacking rails, catch can, hood struts are a must
  17. UPR Billet oil plug - possible stupid question

So the plug has a magnet on it. It also has a valve to open and drain the oil. What good is the magnet if the intention is not to have to pull the plug out every time? Doesn't it defeat the whole purpose of getting rid of the stock plug? I am going to buy it for the valve portion of it to...
  18. 2021 Mustang GT going from 18inch to 20inch rims

The factory lugs will work but they are JUNK. Invest in one of the many versions of the "spline" lugs available on CJPONYPARTS, or LMR, or any of those Mustang MOD sites. They are less likely to strip with the careless mechanic with an air gun and on top of that they look better. The factory...
  19. Best Tire size for my 20" wheels

    305 35zr20 is perfect with a 1” drop.
