First off, is this a decent time for a N/A gen3? I'm still learning as much as I can and after searching the forum I didn't come up with much info. Car is a 2020 GT premium. Full weight, JLT, 2" Kooks, E85 Flex tune. I don't know if wheels count as I went up in diameter from 19 to 20, but 20"...
JLT intake, Kooks 2in headers no cats, Corsa double H pipe, factory active exhaust, and a flex tune running e60. Car seems pretty quick. 9.77 60-130 is my best so far. On a 20in wheel and tire setup. Any similar setups have a 60-130 or a 1/4 time to share?
Didnāt spin much I dont think and I have the 3.55s. Nevertheless it was fun! Cant wait to get a better time after the headers and e85 tune :sunglasses:
I got a 11.28 60-130 time and was wondering what yall think? Mods are corsa H pipe, 20in forgestar wheels and tires. 10spd 2020 for reference. Thanks for your thoughts!
Boost is awesome for sure. My ZL1 is too much fun to drive! I will hopefully get some boost in 24 for the mustang as i seem to drive it more :sunglasses:
Great info on here. Thanks for the knowledge. I think for now, before boost, i'll just get the pmas intake and e85 tune. Then a decent drag pack, followed by some suspension mods, and call it a day until I put the ess kit on. Thanks again and have a great new year!
Im thinking centrifugal later on down the road. For now, ill just get the pmas and e85 tune and be good to go for a while. Better drag pack and some suspension upgrades before boost would be cool, oh and a converter would be really cool š
This is what I have so far:
ā¢nguage tuning device
ā¢kooks headers
ā¢Corsa H pipe
Hereās is a couple parts Im thinking of ordering:
ā¢Steeda cai (closed boxes version)
ā¢throttle body (87mm)
ā¢e85 tune
What do yall think? Is this a decent setup until boost is applied or should I skip anything?
Oh...
Does anyone know if I can hook it up without any sort of tune? I would guess you can but you never know. It might need some sort of marrying tune or something like that.
Quick update. The transmission has been fine so far. Went to the track and ran a 12.2 stock last week. I'm at about 9k miles now and no worries. I guess the shop figured out the problem :sunglasses:
Upfront my apologies, Im new to the mustang . So then will I need the DW pump and pump booster?
This is what my kit looks like at the moment
Pulley Diameter:6PK 120mm (8PSI)
Impeller:X-Trim 7075 impellerVolute
color:Satin (standard)
Blow Off Valve Turbo 50mmFuel
Injectors:None
Fuel PumpW415 with...
Beside injectors what else do think is needed? Will the DW415 and boost a pump work for now? I see Lethal has the injectors and boost a pump in 1 package
With all the hype and excitement on these kits i'm starting to think I want in on the fun. So let's figure out what all is needed and maybe some can chime in with some pointers. Let's start with the kit, going on a 2020 10speed. G3x kit, this is what I got on my order... So the g3 with x-trim...
