Installed Ford Performance hood struts on my '19 Eco. Turns out '18 and up are slightly different than earlier 6g. Almost drilled battery cover hole in wrong spot.
Iāve owned my Mustang for only a few months, so please bear with me.
Woke up this chilly am to a mostly-dead battery on my ā19 Ecoboost Premium. Have not driven car in a week or so. Am charging the battery with my trusty Die Hard charger as we speak, but I got to thinking...
Is this normal for...
I have some unstuck and turned up gasket rubber on my driverās side door. My current and not-so-elegant fix is electrical tape while I discover what the appropriate adhesive is. Anyone have any thoughts? This would be a rubber to painted metal adhesion. Thanks.
I looked high and low for something that would look more or less OEM, not be a pain to install, not cost too much and provide ample light. I failed in my mission. So, I bought these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0721NYMJN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I stuck them on the...
LED lights under the hood. They are supposedly water and shock-resistant. We shall see. Brighter than I expected.. (Also added this little pony and bar logo to each side.)
Interesting. And the red matches my exterior color. I see you also have the coveted start button cover. How do you like that? I thought about it, but figured it would be a pain in the butt to always be flipping the cover up.
I also added a small plastic piece that fits inside the grab handle on the doors, essentially turning them into phone holders. Very unobtrusive, canāt tell they are there. Got them at CJ Pony Parts. Easily hold a phone or a wallet.

I use something like this. Sits in the cup holder closest to the center console armrest, which is where I have the charge cable routed. It connects to the usb inside the console. Clean look. My 2019 EB is an auto...
...I drove it to go vote and eat lunch, but that doesn't count.
I have, however, been spending time the last week working on the place where my Mustang lives -the garage. (Or as they say in the rich 'hood down the street, the "Motor Room.")
In the last week, I have cleaned up, reorganized...
I'd love to read more. In my 19, it seems the mirror power wires are inaccessible behind the plastic cover for the safety sensors. I can pry off a small "hatch" directly behind the mirror, but no plugs or exposed wires, just a cable running left and another right.
I WISH my mirror mount was so simple. A large plastic shroud is mounted on the glass behind my mirror, it houses various sensors for safety systems. There is no exposed wiring harness as it is all tucked under this shroud, which I have not figured out how to remove yet. There seems to be a small...
The 14 y/o kid orbited the SUN 14 times, no the planet. Hopefully, the kid was attached via gravity to said planet during those 14 orbits.
Also, what yāall said.
Hello all,
First, let me say thanks. Iāve been reading these forums and have been learning so much. I am so far behind the knowledge curve I doubt I will ever catch up, so I am grateful for the expertise here.
My next project is a dashcam. I was looking today at the rearview mirror and was...
