We sold our vert last year…. I miss it so much :-(.
Great cars and so much fun. We had the roof down whenever it was not raining. Got so many positive comments, some just overheard when we drove past people. Loved the ownership experience and wish I could turn back the clock and never have sold it.
My 2020 Vert appears to have updated itself. I now have the button for the heated steering wheel on the main climate screen, I think this is new? I've only had the car for a few weeks, so I might be mistaken.
Hi all, picked up a 9month old GT very yesterday. Car is in really good condition, but when I press the keyfob to open the boot, it releases the catch, but the boot does not spring open. It will open if I pull it open, but I wonder if it should spring open on its own accord? It's not really a...
Thanks guys, the car will be used as a cruiser, so although we are used to the BMW gearboxes, the car is going to be used in a different way to just a daily driver, so I think the 6AT may be fine. I drove a previous generation Mustang in the States 6 or 7 years ago and it seemed fine. Maybe...
Thanks @Gregs24 , unfortunately some of those are manual, and I don't really fancy a supercharged one. I think the car in NI sold weeks ago, I phoned them twice and they just said 'I think it's sold'. It's weird it's still there as they had a red one which they have taken down.
Thanks @Supersolo That sound like a good call. I'm not sure to wait for a used one to come up or order a new one for spring/summer. There are basically none available on the used market :-(
Hi All,
We are after a GT Vert, and supply has pretty much dried up. There is pre facelift 2018 for sale in a colour we like which we are considering. Would this be a good move? It's a fair bit cheaper than the post facelift models.
Two areas I could do with help with...
Was the RHD oil...
Thanks wenklaw, I think I agree, I'll be fine without it. I've read a ton of 2017 (pre magnaride) reviews, and I'm not reading anything alarming about the non-MR handling. For a vert which will be used as a cruiser, I think non-MR will be fine.
If the sale of my wifes car goes OK tomorrow, I...
Thanks, the test drive definitely had some bumps, but I was the passenger as it's going to be my wife's car and so I wanted to make sure she liked driving it. It didn't seem harsh to me. I might be able to try a MR car, but probably not a vert, as they are pretty rare in the UK.
Hi All, wife test drove a GT vert last weekend, we both liked it a lot :-) The car hasn't got Magnaride, which sounds like a great option to have. I can't decide if I should go for the non-MR car or order a new one / see if a car with MR comes up secondhand. If I went for the non-MR car it has...
