When you say you removed the flat part of the insert, I'm not sure what you mean. Is that like drilling the hole in the Steeda bushing insert? Interesting. Seems like similar parts to the Steeda stuff I have. Glad to hear it worked for you! I've read some good things about the FTBR bracket...

Gotcha. I'm just trying to firm things up a bit, it can be a little sloppy at times. I was definitely going to drill the hole in the center for the bushing insert. Worst case it doesn't work for me and I remove it, but I'm wondering if I should bother with this combo and just go for the bracket.

I just ordered my first set of personalized plates a few weeks ago. Got my Dad’s old plates from college. They were on his ‘77 Olds Delta 88. He even sent me an original picture of the plate (not knowing what I was up to). Absolutely stoked to have them for the Mustang.

As I'm doing more digging, that seems like the issue. Looks like my best bet is to hope someone with a stock active exhaust decides to sell local.
