I'm very mixed. On one hand, the exterior design strikes me as very similar to that of my S550. It's certainly evolution vs. revolution. That's all well and good. The interior is the real piece of debate for me. I love the look of the screens, but it also makes it a bit "video-gameish" as even...
I'm getting a squeak with the pedal just off the floor when I'm using my clutch (post Steeda Clutch spring install). Anyone have any ideas? It's driving me nuts.
Good to know! I've wanted the Bullitt style grille, but I'm just struggling to stomach the $460 for the Ford version. Any chance you have a pic of your new top grille with the stock lower?
Out of curiosity - when you did the Bullitt grille, did you do the top and bottom, or just the top portion? Also, any chance you have the part number?
Thanks!
@Earlsays , would you mind linking to the Noico packs you used and how much you think I'd need? I've been looking for a way to do this in my car as well, damn NY roads are awful.
Appreciate the advice guys!
@CanadaCalvin88, appreciate the visual as well. Didn't even occur to me that that could be cut off.
I think I'm going to try the BG oil as well. I know people said it's mostly for 2015-17 cars, but I figure it can't hurt on a '20.
When you say you removed the flat part of the insert, I'm not sure what you mean. Is that like drilling the hole in the Steeda bushing insert?
Interesting. Seems like similar parts to the Steeda stuff I have. Glad to hear it worked for you!
I've read some good things about the FTBR bracket...
Gotcha. I'm just trying to firm things up a bit, it can be a little sloppy at times. I was definitely going to drill the hole in the center for the bushing insert. Worst case it doesn't work for me and I remove it, but I'm wondering if I should bother with this combo and just go for the bracket.
I was thinking of doing some minor mods to try and improve shifter feel. I know most people would recommend going with MGW/Barton, but it's more than I'm looking to spend (shifter cost + shop install, as I don't have a space I could use to do it myself). I'm between two setups:
Steeda Bushing...
So...story goes that in college my Dad wanted a personalized plate. For reasons he wanted "Bells 1". Unfortunately that plate wasn't available, so he took Bells 2. We live in NY, and he went to school in Ohio, so midway through a roadtrip to school, he pulls into a gas station. As he tells it...
I just ordered my first set of personalized plates a few weeks ago. Got my Dad’s old plates from college. They were on his ‘77 Olds Delta 88. He even sent me an original picture of the plate (not knowing what I was up to).
Absolutely stoked to have them for the Mustang.
