Hi guys! I have a 2016 mustang GT. And my car is acting strange...when I push the start button to turn the car on it sometimes struggles to crank over and it makes what seems to be a grinding noise coming from what I believe is the starter... I need advice as to what to do. Battery is good...

I own a 2016 mustang gt. And I noticed my car when driving and at a stop the car just drops idle like crazy, sometimes to a point where the car sounds like it’s going shit off. Took it to a mechanic and he said the alternator is bad. Is this possible for a unstable idle?
