Curious as to whether or not you got this finished. If you change to low level output there is no need for a loc. I went through this already and have since ditched the loc due the hiss and high pitch noise that chimes from them.

Was this done on a premium or a base? I have a base model and looking to do the same thing. I already ran remote to blue/ white in the trunk but after installing a different amp for some reason I am no longer getting 12v

I know. It was a video I saved so I guess it will not let it be viewed when people try to view it. The sound seems to be pretty common though.
