  1. A whole bunch on p-codes lol

Definitely odd to not share what the initial cause and fix to the problem was. I haven't run into any issues of this sort, but it was starting to become a good story line in the case that i did.
  2. Calimer Stage 3 + Vengeance Clutch Issue ideas ???

Nothing was done specialty wise. Ended up keeping the RXT and Vengeance clutch both. Running the RXT. Grinding sounds like synchros in the transmission to me.
  3. Thinking about Switching to a Whipple. Thoughts?

Either way if you have the opportunity put E85 on it, with free flowing exhaust and throw 10-12 pounds of boost. Should be safe for the most part and will feel like a totally different car.
  4. Texas HP Tuners Ngauge PBD

    Sold?
  5. ESS G3 - Upr Billet Dual Inlet Breather (Filter saturated with oil)

No check valve, vented to atmosphere. Here is what UPR said as a response so I imagine it’s fine.
  6. ESS G3 - Upr Billet Dual Inlet Breather (Filter saturated with oil)

I recently noticed my car emitting smoke from under the hood a few days ago, turned out to be my valve cover gasket (which I've been reading to be common has failed) on passenger side. So I will be replacing them on both sides, In the interim of determining where this mystery smoke was coming...
  7. What do y’all do for a living?

International Aircraft Dispatcher, also an Intraday Trader/Investor. Helps that the wife is a 6 figure earner also in Human Resources, no kids just yet. Enjoying where I can, while I can. Was born and brought home from the hospital, in a mustang.. Love these machines.
  8. Anyone No Lift Shifting their MT-82 while boosted?

I see you're from the M.. another Memphian here. That's what's up, to answer your question just about every time I took the car to the track I powershifted it 2nd/3rd , lasted for a couple of seasons. Now is a Built MT82 Stage 3. Powershift 1-3rd most of the time. Just installed a WOT box a...
  9. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Yes they do recommend it, that doesn't equate to a clutch not being problematic though. It's all mechanical moving pieces so things fail, not to be unexpected in this niche we're in.
  10. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I called them (Calimer) and explained symptoms as my STG 3 is brand new, they said clutch was the issue. Sure enough it was, other than that. Calimer Trans has been holding up and takes 8K shifts. Works for me.
  11. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I get the priorities and shifts of life, at least you still have a clean car and if the Mrs.. is happy that's half the battle already won lol
  12. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I see you got rid of the boost, brave move lmao gotta join the darkside again man. I know you miss the power, especially this time of year
  13. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

That sounds like that's gonna be a rocket. Not intended to discourage you man, just elaborating on my reality in particularly. May not be a bad idea to send that clutch in and have it upgraded for the stage 3. As it's suppose to hold over 1000 from what it's rated at least. I'd recommend doing that.
  14. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

IMO I'd dive off immediately into the Stage 3 if you're gonna go vengeance and plan to make that type of power. Or go with McLeod from the get go. Car shifted like butter when I had the clutch in it before the issues, it just didn't hold up long for me.
  15. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I am most certain I did, actually waited the full 1000 mile. 985 Something if I am being specific, then after never gave the car excessively hard launches. Never even got the opportunity to take the car to the track before it started having troubles. Mostly saw rolls which it felt initially like...
  16. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I honestly was in denial that it was the clutch for the longest because of the reputation behind them, my initial experience, + the usage and minimal abuse. Not bashing the guys by any means but just sharing my experience as it's not all cookies and cream from what the rest of the internet is...
  17. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Clutch has no chatter that I've heard thus far, no raised idle. And a tad louder than stock but to me that's to be expected.
  18. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Just wanting to chime in and add my 2 cents on my experience with Vengeance. Mods in description, I've had the clutch for about 8 months of mostly light driving with light to light pulls. No hard dumps, or launches. Initially the clutch felt great with day to day driving and under power, I put...
