  1. Deck Lid Spoiler Removal

My understanding is that spoilers reduce lift, in concert with the rear diffuser, while adding little drag. In the case of the pp2 leave 100 lbs on the cars rear that would otherwise be lost to lift. Wings add downforce, the bigger and more radical the wings angle of attack the more down force...
  2. 2019 Bullitt - PP2 rear deck lid spoiler.

https://accessories.ford.ca/kit-rear-spoiler-10976.htm Identical to PP2 as far as I can tell, took off the wing on my '18 PP1, and this bolted straight on. Had to paint it though.
  3. Driving gloves and shoes. Does anyone use?

Steel toes are perfect driving shoes (boots) for a Cat D10 or whatever you have to climb up into to drive. Stu
  4. Driving gloves and shoes. Does anyone use?

Dave TBG is right, old school, plus the steering on many cars in the '50s or there-abouts were heavy, and in a long race you could also get blisters. Likewise 'driving shoes' were like the Pumas in Chef jpd post, narrow because many of the European sports cars of the same vintage had very...

  6. TSW center caps wont clear front hub nut cover

Trial fitted TSW Geneva 9.5x 19 wheels on the front of my 2018 GT PP1 with small dimeter Gorilla nuts and hub centric rings. Things fit fine except center cap wont fit because the front hub nut cover is almost flush with the outside surface of the wheel. Any one know of domed center caps (60mm)...
  7. Called CJ Pony Parts, 45 min wait time...

Thanks for the reply, I was on hold while I wrote the post, got to someone after 42 min wait and the lady was very helpful and confirmed they sent the correct lug nuts, that the part number was correct but the description is wrong, so I have no complaints about the service once I got through...
  8. Called CJ Pony Parts, 45 min wait time...

...95 min wait time for a call back, WTF is this normal for the industry? I ordered some stuff from CJ and one of the items they shipped looks is incorrect (I ordered small diameter wheel nuts, they shipped bulged nuts which wont fit my TSW wheels) I used the 1 800 number for order enquiries...

  11. Are you about to swap spoiler?

This might help, I think all the mtg holes are the same through the range of mustangs/shelbys. You should be able to tell by comparing the template to the wing you want to install. https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/gt350-track-pack-spoiler-drill-template.99079/
  12. 9.5x19 TSW Genevas with +39

New to the forum and have a Crimson 2018 GT PP1.I have a chance to get 4 TSW 9.5x19 with +39 offset and plan on using the standard PP1 PS4S tires (255 fr, 275 rr}. Having searched for quite a while I don't think I should have any clearance issues, as most using 9.5 fronts are using...

Cheers everyone, thanks for the feedback, now I know! Stu
  16. LED Headlight ?

Just bought a 2018 GT PP1,love it. All the Ford literature says the '18s+ have LED headlights, but they look like HID projector lights to me. Are there really LEDs in there (hi and lo) or D3S HIDs like earlier Mustangs? Tried searching but no luck. Stu
  17. Bullitt vs. GT Exhaust: Really A Difference??

Is the active exhaust not controlled by the ECU? Therefore the Algorithm can control when and how much the butterfly valve is open depending on rpm, throttle opening etc. as well as fueling and ignition, to give you a much snap, crackle and pop and noise as you want, the Bullitt having its own...
