  1. A Small Update That Makes All The Difference....

Ironic you're advertising this vinyl kit. I just ordered a side stripe kit and the front splitter inlay and the letters were too small to install. Complete waste of money as far as I'm concerned. There are people selling the actual plastic "shelby" letters and those fit and look great as I've...
  2. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

UPDATE..... TO ALL OF THE "KNOW NOTHINGS" AND HATERS WHO WERE ADAMANT THAT MY CAR WASN'T "THAT" SPECIAL, CHECK THIS LINK OUT. THE CAR SOLD FOR $143,000 AT BARRETT JACKSON AUCTION RECENTLY. I DO HAVE AN ULTRA RARE PORSCHE SPYDER IN MY GARAGE BUT THIS GOES TO SHOW WHAT NONSENSE IS SPOKEN OF IN...
  3. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Awesome! What color combo? Transmission? I’m going with all Fabspeed components- race exhaust, over axle pipes (GPF delete) and possibly the race headers. Should be good for roughly 40+ hp with everything installed- even more once a good tune hits the market. That’s pretty damn significant!
  4. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thank you! Honk next time, I’ll assume you’re from the forum. One can never have too many enthusiast/ gearhead friends. Happy New Year!
  5. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Yes, I took the plunge and bought the Porsche. For anyone interested in my opinion between the two, here goes: In typical Porsche fashion, both the exterior and interior fit and finish, paintwork etc. are exemplary. To quote Matt Farrah, there is a specific “slickness” to the Porsche aesthetic...

    Thank you neighbor.
  7. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Good decision. I have the power 18 way adjustable and they’re fantastic. . Drove from New Orleans to Atlanta with zero fatigue or back pain.
  8. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Hello Dave, the Porsche dealer gave me $75k which means they probably sold it to the Tampa dealer for $80k or more... Here’s a pic of the new car if anyone’s interested and yes, I wish I could’ve kept both. Merry Christmas everyone.
  9. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback sir. Yet another good perspective. True, most here don't know what the 718 Spyder is or understand its mission statement. I had the 987 Spyder nearly ten years ago and foolishly sold it for a new M3...big mistake. I've been carefully observing the evolution of the...
  10. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback sir! I think I understand your point. I wish you good luck!
  11. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for your feedback as I consider you to be a pioneer when it comes to fully enjoying, tracking and rebuilding your engines when required. I've made a lot of concessions with her, overlooking a lot of build quality issues but when the smoke clears, no other car has ever made my heart race...
  12. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

    Good point...I'll ask him.
  13. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback, yes, I would only drive a manual trans car which is why I cancelled my C8 Corvette order and bought my R. To your point, I can't afford both cars at the moment (I have a sweet tooth for Italian motorcycles) so there lies the dilemma- which car can I drive and enjoy the...
  14. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback, just the thought of the car defying typical depreciation and/or being worth a considerable amount in the future does have me cautious... I would disagree regarding Ford keeping replacement parts available for 15 years or more. Having spent years in the collision...
  15. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback, yes, I am well aware of the pros and cons of Porsche. I also acknowledge that the 911 GT3 is the closest comparison to the GT350R and there is a massive price gap between the two- testament to what we have. Every time I fire up my engine, I wonder if the motor is...
  16. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for posting this review- even though they've managed to cite obvious issues about the gearing being too tall, these guys are clowns and shouldn't be reviewing anything but riding lawnmowers for Lowes...lol.
  17. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback, it is ludicrous to not drive it...
  18. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback, I've owned roughly 40 cars (a dozen or so were M cars, AMGs and Porsche and none of them compared to the visceral feel of this car) and never been naive enough to look at any of them as an investment. I'm just a guy who got lucky enough to stumble upon the first car...
  19. Selling GT350R for new Porsche 718 Spyder?

Thanks for the feedback, you've made some good points. I frequently drive two lane country roads and mountain roads at a rapid pace where I will occasionally (just barely) spot and maneuver around rogue pot holes deep enough to cause serious damage. To other people's points, I'm very spoiled...
