Switching off the mapped points from 14-25 in the 38155 config table keeps the cal from running on mapped points that require IMRCs to still be functional.
Updated listing with proper picture, sorry for error in previous listing.
A set of brand new (4) 305/30R19 Bridgestone RE71-R tires. Bought for track days this year but financial situation has changed and more responsible decisions are being made. Located in St Charles IL, prefer local...
The tune could certainly be the culprit. Assuming monitors were set to āNo error reportedā (P0420/0430) etc. for the LTH could cause the OBD monitors to loop testing into an endless āNot Readyā status. Are defoulers installed on the downstream o2s?
I have some experience in a similar vain with the Moates product Binary Editor. I would say Hp Tuners is a lot nicer to work with, but thatās just personal preference. I started by buying the Tuning School beginner Ford book and would say it was well worth the price. Lots of bad info out there...
There is a loss on the low end, any dyno sheet out there will agree. That being said the top end gain certainly makes up for it.
Definitely use a reputable tuner or start reading now and tune on your own with HP tuners. Itās not as simple as disabling the IMRC logic if you lock out. Plenty of...
Trying to bring this back from the ded. Updated my cal and so far the car has been running great, though itās only been a day. Iāll log a few commutes this week and if I can confirm the misfire at low load is gone, I can post what switch/table modifications got me to this point.
Iāve got the FRPP track handling pack and Iām really happy with it, but it is a bit much if youāre not tracking the car. Initially I was bothered by how tight the suspension was and how much more you felt every imperfection in the road. One year and several track events later, Iām really happy...
Well, I have a recording from when I installed it....but apparently Iām 90yrs old because Iām not sure how to upload. Upload to YouTube and attach link? Iāll try that....
Initially after installing the Kooks I was disappointed that there wasnāt much of a change, but Iād prefer too quiet than too loud, so I let it be.
Iāve only driven the car a few times since weather broke (for a weekend) in the Midwest, and now Iām really happy I left it as is. I might...
Also running catted Long tubes to factory stock and very happy with performance and sound level.
@Templarum if you donāt mind sharing, what cutouts did you install? I might copy cat your setup.
I have personal experience trying to install them and they completely screwed the pooch on the passenger side piping. From flange to outer wall of cylinder 2 was like 6.5ā
Never would have fit without mangling the pipe and severely restricting flow. I can send you pics of stock vs 2M vs Kooks...
Donāt know what a shop is gonna charge, but want to jump on the āyou can do itā bandwagon. Having installed a few sets, I would install on jackstands again for $400 if they are Kooks or equivalent. I would pass on the job if they are 2M junk or equivalent.
Iāve installed Stainless Works, Kooks, and attempted to install a set of 2M that didnāt fit.
Personally I would recommend Kooks catted.
The stainless power fit great but weāre catless and very loud.
The 2M had zero chance of fitting and whoever is running the show there is arrogant as can...
FWIW, been running 285/19 on 9.5ā w/305/19 on 10.5ā (also Shelby wheels) for years, zero issue or complaint. There is no reason to shy away from stepping up the size, great options in the 285/305R19 range.
