Hello All from DFW. I am from the northern part near Frisco. Seeing if there is any events, fun times or social events going on. "I know crazy to ask at a time like this."
BTW front spacers per doc is for mustangs that did not have the threaded holes up front from factory. Mine was one of them.. I used the spacers provided
I think they told me that not every mustang from the factory has the exact same measurements. the end user will have to make adjustments.. i get that part... a hair off.. etc. The end to end(left to right) k-member points do not allow it. Ive tried spacers... front.. rear. doubled up when i was...
I took mine off because no matter what I did to the front 2 points.. It was hitting the trans cooling lines no matter what I did. Complete waste of money
Dallas Precision Imports <-- went here. Tell them the guy in the silver mustang sent you. They got me to the alignment that was given to me by Steeda.. didn't take them long like another shop I took it to.
I have 275/35/20(fronts) and 305/35/20(rears). Measuring center cap to top of fender. 14 7/8 (front) and 15(rear). Since the sidewall on the rears is taller. The gap by default less on the rears. With my setup I have coilovers. What do you guys recommend for good cornering? Should i have the...
The rattle is gone. It was the endlink adjustment nuts. One was still in the adjustment position. DOH on me. One needed to be tightened.
Thank you Mike @steeda. You have been A+. I recommend Steeda to anyone out there for suspension!!!
We are getting there. Steeda is correct so far. Most of it is self-error. I have one more thing to do to rule out it all. I will keep you posted.
**** BTW Steeda has been on top of this with me.. I am happy with the responses and the guidance from them. They make great products. I fully trust...
So i fixed that gap.. it was because the front spacer had the left side of the cars small spacer... this fixed alot of the heavy rattle. I still have a small rattle in the rear. So i bought the steeda rear mounts.. we will see..
This ended up being the rear spacer was on the front. Spacer on the front is bigger. Corrected all. This eliminated a ton of the noise..
Today was my first day to drive it after the spacer fix. I still get a small rattle. When I leave work today, I am going to test it again.. maybe the...
I found a gap in the front IRS spacer on the top(right side of car.) No matter what... I can not close that Gap.. The left side of my car is fine and not issue. Was this something that the alignment shop goofed on? What can I adjust to fix that?
In the pictures. It sites like that with...
I do not have the Steeda rear shock mounts. I have the OEM stock mount. During install of the Steeda shock, you have to drill a 10mm-12mm hole in the OEM shock mount. I thought maybe it could be moving in that hole. Not sure
Endlinks checked again... same issue.
I am using the factory upper shock mount. I remember having to drill a hole it to make the steeda shocks fit. Could this be it?
