damn i miss my 2015. It was boosted making around 700-750whp
i sold it 2 years ago.
currently i have a 1200+whp gtr and a 350whp subi.
I want to back to mustangs. those 2 seemed like good project cars to build on. S550 is a bit out of my budget right now
both are closely priced.
2007 GT 500 with 60k miles. Bone stock with no issues
Vs
2012 mustang gt with around 100k miles with a blown 3rd gear
my goal is reliable 700rwhp
I was getting 20+ degrees cecius iats above ambient. And takes a lot to cool it down after a pull. Now im bypassing the HE and getting better IATs and better recovery after a pull
OP KillerChiller
Drag setup or whatever its called
Been driving car for >1hour IAT rarely higher than ambient at high temps
A/C still cooling fine for me
Tbh, thatll be a problem with circuits/laps kind of racing. For drag/street racing it wont be a problem. I did back to back WOT runs with cruising for 1-2mins in between. IATs will go 5C above ambient during a WOT run then come back below ambient with a 1-2min cruise. And i have stage 1...
Got it installed by a mechanic except for a/c lines. Then took it to an a/c specialized shop to do the a/c lines. I live in Qatar if youre asking about specific shop
yes i forgot to say, KC upgraded my kit to drag kit (for free) because there were some delays. its huge, and i had a problem with placement (it was touching the bumper) had to remove the lower grill. it looks ugly but its leak-free and i dont want to touch it
Ive got KC running now with no HE. I get ~5-10C lower than ambient when cruising. When stopping IATs gets ~5C higher than ambient.
A/C cooling is low at sometimes, mid day when in traffic. But normal when cruising
Anyone can share their 103mm TB data. I just changed the TB from stock to 103mm on stage 1 2650. Drivability is shit. My tuner still working on revisions. But if someone has date and willing to share that will help a lot.
