First deal fizzled out. Original markup of $10k. They were willing to reduce the markup to $9k over. Of course they lowballed me on my trade which is a 2019 with tech pack, handling pack, carbon dash. 4,200 miles.

In discussions with a few dealers on base 2020s.We will see where this goes. The prices I was quoted on CF cars were outlandish.

I wish I could keep both, but my condo only has one parking space. I am no hurry, so I will wait for the right deal.

We shall see how things go. The markups I am finding here in the Bay Area are anywhere from $20k to $50k over. I will be patient and wait for a deal to materialize. Perhaps with the 2021 order book open, dealers will relent some on the 2020s.
