what other mods you got? I was thinking to do the same, but from all the reading, research and questions to owners, it seems like best idea to spend about $1k on suspension upgrades/stiffening and wheel and tires, before adding power, so that's my plan.
Don't get to drive much these days due...
was on my phone and you sig wasn't showing, see it now, that's a lot! no second hand stuff here, small mustang/ford club, we're on an island so pretty much have to bring in everything new with a 30% markup. so not going to go to crazy, but stiffer ride, more power and quicker off the line will...
Ok I see what you're saying, I was thinking to do it in stages with procharger as last step and everything else prior to support it. If I do that then I should remove the TB

similar situation. picked up a 2017 stock v6. put on eibach lowering springs and a tune. Got an offer of a good deal on a loan and considered a GT but due to duty where I live a $47k GT becomes $56k.
thinking to save money, work with what i've got and mod and tune it. Potential build list, not...
My local mechanic, that I trust, that shoudl know their stuff, took 7 hours to install my springs! and charged me over $700!!!
roads have got better, but not sure why they build a 2 lane split carrigaeway then put a 40mph limit on it. I guess it balances out with all the US fines they never...
well i feel like those are relatively minor and inexpensive mods, compared to what i could be doing, i.e. supercharger.
Can't afford a GT and on a small Caribbean island with one 1/8 mile drag track. highest road limit is 50mph but my end is only 40mph, so i don't really need GT power, and am...
plastidipped wheels and logos, smoked out all the lights, lowered with eibach springs, got a bama tune. Now i really need new wheel and tires + cold air intake, exhaust and gears on the shopping list
Does anyone take their V6 to the track? How do you launch? Is it just sport mode + disable traction control + brake + accelerator then release break? This was pretty much how to do it in my BMW.
Or is there no point? Not found anything on it here, google or youtube, apologies if this has...
