Don't fill it to the "MAX Line" when cold. It will be over filled when it gets hot. Just top it off to the "MIN Line" when its cold. As the fluid gets hot it expands which is why the level rises when hot.

keep us informed on how it turns out. I'm debating getting one. Something about being stranded with a broken drain plug till ford opens on Monday makes me uneasy. I also have a similar issue with my 18 power stroke...it has a water separator with a weak plastic petcock/drain plug.
