Not sure what the DA was that day. It was last summer. The track is approx 650 Ft above sea level and the temp that day was approx 28-30deg C (86F). It was hot and sunny...
My 2018 Roush ran a 10.9 last year on drag radials. All stock drivetrain and suspension. I had plans of doing some mods, and heading back to the track. But bought a new house in August and renovations have taken up all my time. I did just receive the updated LTR from Roush. Up here in northern...
I was getting error codes, limp mode etc related to the throttle body. If you have a little signal adapter in the battery box you have the old style analog TB. Gavin worked with my dealer to get digital throttle body shipped and installed. I contacted him when I heard about the updated LTR.
I have an early build 2018 Roush A10. It's been great. Roush warrantied an updated Throttle Body, and covered the labor for the installation. I recently contacted them about the new LTR and they sent me out one free of charge shipped to my door. (i will look after installation, just too busy...
I never flash my car without a battery charger on it. Even at the track I bring a portable booster back and have it hooked to the battery while flashing. I also tune ecu's on turbo sleds, watercraft, and SXS's. I learned the hard way that this cheap insurance is with well worth it. Low battery...
I thought about them. yes it looks cleaner. I decided against it because my car is a DD...and the money better spent on mods that do more than just look nice with hood open.
I have only been to the 1/4 track with my 2018 Roush car once. Was 90F (32 C). Not sure what the DA was that day. But it was hot lol. Running 305 NT05R in the rear. All stock 401A car, full weight...including my fat butt in the driverseat. My best run was a 1.6 60', 7.0 1/8th and a 10.9 at...
I was about $9000 US all in installed when i did mine last year. I bought a ford executive demo with about 3500 miles on it. Then with my ford X plan pricing....saved about 9000 off MSRP. So it was kinda a wash.
Just want to give shout out to "Chainsaw" and Gavin at Roush performance. I made a quick phone call to Roush this morning and described my situation. Gavin quickly confirmed that I needed a new throttle body. My local (non-roush) dealer is making a call to Roush to get set up for warranty work...
I had a quick look last night. It appears my setup has the early analog throttle body. I will be making some phone calls today. Thanks for the heads up.
I have a 2018 Roush Charged GT that I purchased in June of last year. I am having an intermittent P0120 code that puts the car into limp mode. Barely moves under its own power. It seems to come on at random points under cruising speeds. I have had it come on driving on the hwy with cruise...
