Hi,
Does anyone know who owns the Bullitt in the first post, with the aftermarket wheels? Looks to be based in Queensland, Australia, registration JJZ107?
I'm looking for a similar set, so just after the details of the wheels. Look like maybe Shelby Venom, or Forgestar CF10s?
Thanks in...
I just installed a set of these in red, on the right side it looked odd, sticking out 2mm or so at the rear of the marker, rather than flush, so I took it out, and noticed the rear tab was bent out a bit, and is not broken through but weak at the bend in the tab so the RH one is basically...
Hi, a couple of questions if I may:
Will these be available through distributors in Australia?
Do the 315s fit on the back without needing to run too much negative camber?
What are the offsets?
Thanks a lot!
Matt
Thanks Graeme, great looking car, including the tyres!
It sounds like all the new Mustangs since changing over to Michelin will have this 'issue', not just Bullitts
Just an update with my own conclusions;
From the VSI 26 - Roadworthiness Requirements:
"The load rating of tyres on vehicles subject to ADRs must be at least equivalent to the minimum ratings shown on the tyre placard."
My placard says 105 for the rears, so looks like I'll be going...
Hi,
I'm looking at putting 20" wheels on my 2019 Bullitt, but have a potential issue I wanted to see if anyone could shed light on or had come across.
The rules as I understand them are that you can't go down from the original tyre load index. The standard GT seems to be rated at 101, but...
Thanks, good to know about the one piece, that makes it more likely I'll try and stick it down better without replacing it, sounds like a big job and could cause more problems.
And it's not just black ones, mine's green. Interesting it seems to be the same window though.
I picked up my brand new Bullitt today, same issue on the left side, will be asking them to fix it at the first service. I think it's just stuck on with double sided tape, I can't see the window needing to come out?
Thanks, actually no time at all, I've been sniffing around for a GT but was waiting for 2020 for Twister Orange, then a dealer here had a cancelled Bullitt order so I snapped it up. Here in Australia they sold out months ago, so I was incredibly lucky really!
Hi, I just added myself to the list, I'm picking up my Bullitt next week, and I can't wait! This forum has been a goldmine of information and inspiration, thanks
A dealer told me recently they were going back to order only, to maintain a level of hype/desirability that flooding the market was reducing.
Who knows if true, but sounds good to me, the pendulum swung too far from the early days.
