I went the opposite way. Traded in my 2017 Toyota 86 Special for a ‘19 Bullitt. Always wanted a Mustang. I do miss the nimble handling, braking and light feel of the 86 but the flat 4 Subaru box engine left me wanting more.

You guys are very knowledgeable. This is a great thread. I'm learning a lot. Of course, I learn one thing and end up with ten more questions. lol.

I don't believe so. The Track Attack is only for Mach 1 owners. I think this event is to generate interest so someone goes out and buys a Mach 1.

I was invited to attend the Mach 1 Track Tour at the Radford Racing School in Chandler, AZ.Does anyone know what participants will get to do? Drive or just ride along? The GT500 is included too.

Haven’t done them yet. I’m waiting on my Steeda Tune (Tuning by James) to be emailed to me in the next day or so, so I can try out both the 91 octane and E85 tune. I’m really considering not doing the 4.09’s and going the Whipple route and be done with it.

Lowers the car about 3/4”. The ride is a little stiffer on normal setting. Sport and Track feel about the same until you corner aggressively, then the revised Magneride calibration, stiffer springs, and larger diameter sway bars make you feel like you’re on rails. The 3/4” drop is perfect imho

I installed the FP Magneride performance pack, Steeda Stop the Hop kit, G-Trac K brace, urethane differential bushing inserts, billet vertical links, adjustable sway bar end links, clutch spring and a MGW shifter. Everything I’d do again. Handles like it’s on rails and shifts nicely. I have the...

I put a MGW shifter and the Steeda clutch spring in. It’s great for me. If was a little pricey but feels very precise and shortened the throw considerably. I also haven’t missed the 5th to 6th shift once. I occasionally would hit 4th instead of sixth with the stock shifter.

Thanks for replying. I appreciate the perspective. I’m running 275/40-R19‘s but will be going to 305’s. I was thinking of going with the gears and a tune for awhile before the Procharger but don’t want to install anything that would be counterproductive to my ultimate goal of the Procharger.
