I have a couple of chips I want to touch up, got the Motorcraft touch up paint. One small scratch, it matches very well. The other deep one, the red is a LOT darker than the surrounding paint. Thinking I need to put some primer in there first? What color of primer is used with Ruby Red? Thanks

After if had been in the shop for 3 days, the sales guy pulled the keys to my trade to hold it until it was resolved. Probably helped that the Mustang was my 3rd purchase there in 18 months. I'm disappointed in the car, but the dealership made it right.
End result: Took it to the dealer, after 10 days of working on it and consulting with Ford, still couldn't get the monitors to complete. Reversed the deal, got my trade-in and cash back ...
Interesting, since most of the reading I've done says it needs steady throttle to get them to complete, but I did run it hard a few times.
I called the dealer and they are supposed to be trying to figure out what to do before I bring the car in.
Just bought a 2016 Mustang GT, Certified Pre-Owned, 3,800 miles. Apparently the dealer reset the computer and I'm waiting for 3 of the emission monitors (Oxy Sensor Mon, Oxy Snesor Heater, Catalyst Mon) to complete so I can get the emissions check and register the car. The car has no error...
