Anyone know what the thickness is on an OEM head gasket? Motor from JPC has .045 min gasket written on it. I have new stock gaskets but I can't find the thickness. Thanks.

Tried search didn't find much. Anyone have experience with these? I couldn't find much info on them. Do you drill through the block for the set screws? They looked so restrictive. Any heat issues? Are they worth it for a safe 800-900whp? Thanks.

How much does a good block and piston go for?

Yeah heads are fine. Honestly the block is fine too. Could of saved a ton of cash if i waited. Oh well.

Itll sit for awhile before i get time to tear it down. If all is good ill just through some rods and pistons in.

Lund tuned. I havent opened it yet but if its ring land failure i read that isnt usually from knock. I watched my SCT all the time and never had knock. Some false here and there.

Update is she gone. RIP. Just finished the test. #7 toast. 85 psi. Bitter sweet. Happened right in prime car season. I guess its time for a built short block, fuel and all the boost. ‍♂️
