I voted VB, and am biased. After owning nothing but muted colored vehicles for my entire life, I decided I wanted something that was eye catching. VB definitely does that. I also like the way the trim colors are an accent. With black, and to a lesser extent gray, a lot of that is lost.
Active exhaust. I full expected to be wanting to modify my exhaust, but I think it sounds incredible stock. I also really like quiet mode, which I affectionately refer to as “wifey mode”. She doesn’t have the appreciation of the roar that I do, but more importantly, our bedroom is directly above...
This is a pic of my Velocity Blue under street lights at night. It’s the best pic I’ve taken of the car as far as the lighting bringing out the brilliance of the paint.
Hey thanks for the response! I don’t really wanna bypass the whole system. I like being able to start it in quiet (wifey mode) early in the am since our garage is directly below our master bedroom and I sometimes leave for work at 0 dark 30. Was just hoping someone could help me understand why...
So I read another thread where it seems that the unfortunate consensus is that you can’t have your “mymode” settings as your default. It’s not a huge deal, but is slightly annoying. Another issue that I find really irritating is that even when I manually switch to mymode before starting, it...
Congrats! Enjoy the new ride and welcome to the Mustang world. I recently bought the 3rd Mustang I’ve had after almost 10 years out of performance oriented cars. These cars are an amazing leap compared to my last one, a 2001 GT.
401A was a must have package for me, but the car came with the B&O system. I’m not a big car audio guy, and frankly, I spend a lot of my drive listening to the music coming out of the ass end of the car. I don’t have any comparison to the non upgraded system, but overall I’m happy with it.
Michelin specifically states on their site that these tires can develop cracks if driven in particularly cold temps, and says they should be allowed to warm up to 40 degrees over 24 hours if temps fall below 20 degrees. (I may be wrong on the numbers). The issue with these isn’t just that they...
I have the rattle. I’m also in MD and haven’t driven it much for the same reason. I don’t feel like there’s any performance concerns at this point, so I think I’ll just hold off and drive it a bit more when we get some good weather and clean roads before I go through the hassle of getting it to...
Hey all, I just bought a brand new 2019 GT. Unfortunately hadn’t joined this forum until after I bought the car, because it might have changed things for me. I love the car, but I realized pretty much as soon as I got it home that I also have this tick, showing up around 2200rpm and going away...
Awesome info! thanks! I don't think I'm gonna spring for the ceramic tint. I've always done just regular 20% tint on my cars and been happy with the result. The car will be living in the garage, so I'm not terribly concerned about it becoming an oven sitting in the summer sun. I like the...
I paid $42xxx for my 19 GT Premium on 1/31/19. MSRP was $49xxx for whatever that's worth. Timing matters though. I live in Maryland, where the high was 12 degrees that day, and I made sure they knew that I knew the car had summer tires on it. Add in the last day of the month, and they were...
Nice looking car! I just got mine at the end of December. I walked into Bob Bell in Glen Burnie on 1/31 when it was 12 degrees outside knowing they'd be chomping at the bit to make a sale. It has about 250 miles on the odometer right now, and all this crappy weather is killing me. I keep...
Congrats on the new ride! Looks pretty similar to mine that I just got on 1/31! I got the manual because for some reason I just can let go of the joy of shifting myself, and the paddles just aren't the same. I planned on doing the blacked out badges to match the wheels, but have since been...
Hey all, I’ve been lurking for a week or so but figured I’d make an account and join the community. This is my third Mustang, but it’s been a while since I’ve been in any kind of performance car. I’d been considering a Corvette, but ultimately couldn’t pull the trigger on such an impractical car...
