If your battery is half decent you'll be alright. Just turn off radio and make sure all lights are off and keep the door closed during the whole process.

Curious to see results after. Seen someone else had the 2k rattle that would up being just the manifold.

Are they still holding up with the trans brake? Been wondering about them as well. Don't see a point in 800hp axles in an na car if I can spend half that and be fine.

Now that you mention it, I haven't heard the 2k rattle since I took my manifold off to port it. Like I've said before though I haven't been driving it a lot or listening very well.

Funnily enough, mine would only do it in neutral. Never heard the rattle while going through a tunnel or tight spots.

Did you get another test done after the first one to see a difference? Planning on siphoning some out soon to get another test done in between changes.

These were the results of my first oil change and test at 4k miles with both the tick and the 2k rattle. At 6k now and havent heard the rattle but really haven't been listening too hard either.
