I‘ve had the gen 1 in my 2019 GT350 for a couple of years now. It is too stiff and so I’m having the stock shifter installed. The only thing I really liked about the MGW was the confidence in going from 2nd to 3rd.

I had the Power Stop Z26 Carbon-Ceramic pads installed. I'm very happy with them. Normal driving I don't notice any difference in stopping power. I won't be tracking the car so no worries there. I've taken the car out 4 times and no dust. Stock pads required a wash job after each drive.

I had it installed. It cost $375. There are install videos on the MGW website if you want to do it yourself. More than I wanted to attempt. They took the knob off. I know it is glued on with loctite. This video shows how to take the knob off without damaging it.
