A lot of traffic this day, but good drivers that let you by.
I could have gotten into the 2:30s without traffic.
Front straight mph...
Mine is a 2015 GT PP.
It's good to drive when they are full soft. At full soft, my wife and I take it on long trips and it is comfortable.
I think they would be on the stiff side, which is all a personal preference, if I didn't have the adjustable struts. It'll depend which struts you put on...
I have BMR SP083 springs, BMR Adjustable front and rear sway bars and Koni Yellow adjustable struts and shocks.
I really like this set up for both track and street.
i wanted the adjustable struts to dial it soft for the street. Its very reasonable to drive on the street at full soft. At full...
One time a looong time ago I didn't oil the gasket, the seal came out of its groove and bunched up. Felt odd, so I took it off and thought, "oh that's why."
I've oiled it ever since with just a very light film.
I have a $1000 paper weight in my shop that vibrates like hell above 45 mph.
I bought it as part of a winter project, so by the time I figured it out I was over the 30 day return policy so American Muscle won't help. Tried to find a local shop to balance it. None can balance the CV style I joint.
Cool track... awesome working the curbing!
Really fun to the see tracks from all around the world! We need more entries so we are less US focused and more world focused.
Good run! 6 seconds fast than your previous run.

Beautiful weekend for track day in MO. This is a great track, love it. There have to be more times from here to post. There were a lot of...
It's a split decision! :)
I'm a little paranoid because one time I hauled a dune buggy with a Corvair engine and VW transaxle in gear and it bent the forks in the transmission and it never worked right after that.
Still on the fence. 🤷♂️

It's track season! Great to see a lot of posts. I'll have to get on it to update the main page. I've been working on my car and getting ready for...
I decided to take it to a local transmission shop. they put the Carbon Fiber synchros in it. Everything else was fine. I used the Center Force dual friction clutch and put a Motorcraft stock part number throw-out bearing in. I'm using Amzoil 75w-80 transaxle & transmission oil. I also took the...
I looked back at one of my posts and the math does work out. I thought my rpms were higher than 6800 at about 143 mph. Now I need a super charger to push up in to the 150s! 😀
I have my governor set at 7500 as well.
I just talked one of the guys at Calimer. He said 6th gear synchros going out is very common. That the factory synchros are weak and upgrading to the carbon fiber synchros will solve the problem.
I'm going to ship it to Calimer. Thought about doing it myself, I've done transmissions before, but...
I would be surprised if you can get 143 mph @ 7500 with trans ratio of 1:1 and rear diff of 4.10.
I have 3.73 and run 285/35/19 on the rear. In my 1:1 gear with 3.73, I'm maxing out at 143- 145 mph... I'd have to go back and look at some track day videos to be sure.
My 6th gear Syncrho is out of my MT-82. I looked at swapping in an XL, but decided the gearing isn't right for what I use it for, which is road course trackdays. I would be doing mostly 2nd to 3rd gear shifts. The 3160 would be a better option. But there doesn't appear to be to many of them...
