Hello everyone,
Just a follow up.... received the car back from ford. Header tank
Is visibly the worst affected area with a considerable accumulation of oil. Dealer has ordered a new one and will replace at my convenience. Done approx 500miles following the cooler replacement, so hopefully all...
Ford phoned today, they diagnosed the car today as an oil cooler failure. They are flushing the cooling system and the engine is okay... They have run it all up and itās performing well and runs as it should.
They missed the cut off point for ordering the cooler next day so it will be in...
Itās probably easiest to check the UK local section. I guess the most logical solution for you would be JW racing in Luton. I believe they work with Lund and think they have a hub dyno on site
Appreciate the thoughts, it has knocked me. Buying a brand new car you donāt expect such a failure. Hopefully everything will be resolved amicably with the dealer
I was a mile from the M4 exit, Iād done a 75mile journey averaging ā70āmph but not excessive, the last section must be a good 10-15miles of 50mph, within a mile of that after 3 sets of what I would call regular traffic light stops it went.
Probably around 500miles since the last dyno run. The run from reading-Salisbury-Windsor is the most driving Iād done in a short amount of time bar collection from Edinburgh

Thought I would create a thread to document my upcoming ājourneyā with what seems to be an oil cooler failure.
Iām keen to gather some tips and advice that may steer me in the right direction from people that have had a similar experience.
Bit on the car, itās an 18reg. Picked it up end of...

Quite a considerable problem in the uk! Using a relay device to scan for the keys signal in the house.
I fitted a Corsa xtreme, now Iām going for long tubes with green cat.. I get the noise is going to be excessive for 99% of the population. So do you install the bullet resonators before or after the Xpipes (or double X in this instance)? What difference does it make to the sound? TIA
