  1. custom OBD-II PIDs

I notice in the OBDLink app under sensors that it shows that information but in RaceChrono the settings page would lead me to believe it comes from the phones internal sensors. The moderator on the RC forum responded to my questions with the following: "It might be possible with upcoming...
  2. 2018 up GT on E85 come on in...

I haven't used the E85R but once when I initially logged. This is what Lund said about it: "Your E85R tune is to be used ONLY with tested E85 (no fuel mix). You can NOT use this tune with 93. The E85 race tune will allow the same amount of maximum timing as your flex tune but has a more...
  3. Installing dash cam

The image I posted doesn't do it justice, not that it is that great either way. 2018-12-26_19-05-46.jpg is from the split view that the camera can provide on the driver side and 2018-12-26_19-17-31.jpg is the view from the front. The other picture is for perspective
  4. custom OBD-II PIDs

I think it comes from the phone's internal sensors by default. I am using the MX+ which supports MS-CAN and I think MS-CAN should provide the information. I don't know a lot about it. I am going to see if Forscan can provide any insight.
  5. custom OBD-II PIDs

Does anyone know of any custom OBD-II PIDs that will display/log the g-forces displayed on the digital dash? I am using RaceChrono Pro.
  6. Installing dash cam

I had Best Buy swap out the camera and the new camera connects to the AT&T 4G service so I am going to give it another week or two and see if the functionality is there. I had an $80 gift card for purchasing my GoPro from them and another $20 in rewards so for $299 it may be worth it.

  8. 2018 up GT on E85 come on in...

I had Lund tune my otherwise stock 19 with the Flex and E85R about 3 weeks ago and it certainly feels faster. I have been haunted by CELs off and on for misfires since before the tune but none stuck. The CEL locked on and generated a DTC just as I was about to flash and fill up with Ignite Red...
  9. Installing dash cam

I installed the Secure360 4G today. Installation was simple with the hardest part being lining up the mount on the windshield the first time around. I ran the cable across the dash between the trim and windshield so it is out of the way and then removed the trim on the side and front of the...
  10. Installing dash cam

Some of the reviews were not favorable for the picture quality for sure. I really like that it has 4G and picks up the sides of the car. I figure I will give it a try and see for myself. I was leaning toward the DR900 myself and if the quality really does suck on the Waylen that is what I will...
  11. Installing dash cam

I wonder how they would hold up to the heat during summer. They look exactly like the type I would need.
  12. Installing dash cam

' I would rather not see the wire but it will need to come up from the dash I think. I am going to mount it as close to over the twilight sensor as possible to maximize the view the camera has. I think there will be 3 or so inches running up the window. I wonder if there is a way to make the...
  13. Installing dash cam

I am installing a Waylens Secure360 4G and need to come up from the top of the dash with the wire. I don't want to mess with the mirror since the car has all of the cameras and sensors for lane assist. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to route the wiring? Am I going to be able to get...
  14. Logging data

That looks great. What app are you using on the primary phone?
  15. Logging data

I might give this a try. They just updated for GoPro 7 and I ordered the OBDLink MX+ adapter.
  16. Logging data

Right, so that is a good question. I can take my TonWon OBD2 and connect to OBD Fusion and record Speed and RPM. It is only capturing about 2 event per second which is not fast. Fundamentally that is the type of the thing I want to do, capture data. I would also like to capture other information...
  17. Logging data

Would the Aim Solo DL do everything in one package? I don't want to spend that much any more than I would use it, but if it would handle all the data maybe it would be worth it? One thing I would like to see is gear position. It is a manual transmission. Is that outside the scope of the OBD?
  18. Logging data

I am looking for the best way to log data. Hardware and software recommendations and any other information would be appreciated. I have an iPhone, Harry's Track Timer, an nGauge (Lund), and a Surface Pro. I also have the 2 OBD adapters below. USB/Serial based Bluetooth LE When logging is...
  19. Misfires

I pulled the plugs and checked them today. They were all gapped at .53 and look okay. I changed the gap to .40. The car ran strong and there were no misfires. I didn't get to drive for long. I ran it on Speedway E85. The nGauge did a relearn and settled on 84.7% ethanol. I broke the electrical...
  20. Misfires

I will be checking the plugs in the morning if the rain ever stops. Lund came back and said that the logs all looked good and recommended checking the plugs as well and setting them to .40.
