Steeda LCA Bearings...
The inner sleeve is of a similar gauge to the Steeda clamps and reinforced clamping force comes from the outer sleeve. I torqued them to 50#'s and they have held to tips perfectly for 3 months now.
I installed the Steeda X-pipe on my 18 as well and the supplied clamps wouldn't hold the tips aligned. After reading other threads on here, I purchased 2 of the reinforced stainless clamps and couldn't be happier! Don't waste anymore time with the weak band clamps...
Steeda's mid-pipes are an awesome deal and I love the sound of the x-pipe with the active exhaust! Purchase their midpipes and buy some reinforced stainless clamps as well bc their included clamps aren't the best choice for getting the alignment just right.
Finally applied the G2 red caliper paint on my 18 race red car. Stage 3 Motorsports has the paint for $35, and you can get a $10 off coupon by signing up for emails, so I paid $25 shipped for the kit. I think it turned out nice and matched race red very well.
I'm guessing folks, myself included, were thinking it would be higher. Call it ignorance, but nobody has really shown before and after graphs that I've seen. Hes being transparent and one of the first non-sponsored cars doing these cams. I have nothing but praise for the man.
I believe I think saw an update on Facebook yesterday but can't find it now. He said the car made 490, must've been a stingy dyno. Car carried power and to 8k. Im interested in his track times tbh.
