I regret lowering a previous GT I had with Eibach Pro kit springs. I didn't like the stance or ride. Granted I made the mistake of not switching out the worn shocks. I'm sure it would of rode alot better.

These are 9.5" wide. Your tires would work for these wheels. You can run 9.5's all around for a square set up or staggered 9.5" / 11". They come in different finishes and are flow formed...
Your spare should work with the your 20" wheels if paired with the factory size tire which is 265/35r20. Your wheel and tire combo should measure around 27.3" which is the same as the standard 18" wheel and tire combo. I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I bought my 18 new back in April of 18. I had my transmission check and re-flashed about a year later give or take. My main issue was jerking from p to d or r to d. My car shift smooth for maybe a year. Now my car is back to jerking in to drive. I have about 30k easy driven miles on it.
Transmission jerk from park to drive, reverse to drive. I’ve had the trans re-flashed which made things better for about a year. I also had the fluid checked. I would rather have a smooth transmission over an “adaptive” transmission....
Yes, this wheel/tire set up does close the gap up pretty good. I thought about maybe doing a minimum drop spring which only lowers the car 1/2", but Im not in a rush. Right now the pros of stock ride height out weigh the con's for my particular needs. I didn't need any spacers to fit over my...
I went with 275/35/20 up front with the 9.5's. That seems to be one of the more popular sizes up front. Heres a pic of them on the car. I'm not sure how the 275/40 would look. I'm on stock suspension.
I’m far from a senior, but S550’s look pretty good at stock ride height to me. It depends on the wheel/ tire combo. They definitely don’t carry the 4x4 look of previous gens IMO. Only reason I would lower mine Slightly would be performance purposes.
I have a very similar set up to yours. My car looks decent with out dropping it. I’m wondering is it worth it since I’m just concerned with looks. Did you get your springs installed? What do you think so far?
Looks pretty good to me at stock ride height! I know it's popular to lower mustangs...but s550's look way better at stock ride height than older gens imo....
I like both gens for different reasons. The 15-17’s have a classic look, the 18+ have a mean look. I will say the 15-17 looked like they where lower in the back than the front due too the nose being higher. I don’t care for the reverse rake look.
Based strictly on ride quality, how do the Steeda minimal drop springs compare to the base model gt springs? My car is a daily driver. I don’t track the car at all. I just want a slight drop which these springs will give me. I’m only interested in springs only. I wouldn’t mind a progressive...
Shelby Cs-3 20x9.5 275/35/20
20x11 305/35/20 stock ride height, The wheel/tire combo fills up the wheel well pretty good, No plans on lowering as of right now.
