Agree w tony here. The dumbed down rev boost feature mentioned in the review is a huge help in traffic as I can creep along with no throttle input. There as one trip I took to downtown Dallas that was sheer hell but where I live traffic is not that bad and easy to modulate. I’ve driven...
Good honest review. at 11000 miles my biggest gripes are the clutch and transmission. Its clunky and mine feels almost slippy at times already. Hoping for a spring fix there when it is clutch time. Drivers window makes a bumpy sound as it goes down, fit and finish are as expected being a...
A little late to the party but a good review. she gets it. It's all about the smiles. 8, almost 9 months in and I'm still getting random compliments about how much people like my car. Had a ford truck owner in front of me last week exit his vehicle at a red light to take a pic.
Weather is warming and I’m back to back up my initial claim...it is just the best damn car ever. My wife hates it. So much that my “my mode” is now programmed with the exhaust in quiet mode or, what I like to call “broke mode”. That just makes me love it more.
I thought once I got used to...
Yes scrolling up down does nothing to change the fact that when I hit "ok" the screen remains black. I'm only 400 miles from first service so was going to have it looked at then.
ok so in that screen, when I highlight trip/fuel, and click ok, nothing happens....screen is still blank. I can still go to the pony button and get the center small guages to come up, but no trip info. Weird.
I can't seem to get my trip settings/fuel mileage screen to come up. weird. Used to be able to access from settings button on steering wheel but now is just blank in the center screen when you push ok. Am I missing something here? (I mean , other than the trip settings:)
Turns out, it’s the best damn color too!
I’ve noticed when I go thru a drive thru at night that has flourescent lighting I get lots of compliments on the color. People love this car. Many stolen glances caught at stop lights. Even had one guy hang his head out the window and drop his jaw...
I'm getting a little play in the shifter after about 3500 miles. Seems to be getting worse. I thought these were permanently attached and shouldn't come loose? Feels like it is just the ball itself.
I'll wait til first service to address, so long as it stays on til then.
Anyone else notice...

I think I'm staying stock here. I thought painted greed lovers would be the one big add on I would want, but I've noticed my driveway slopes a...
maybe it is just the extra compression in the rear, but it feels totally different entering a driveway or embankment at an angle, like the rear end is stuttering and a bit choppy. Surely there is another reason besides just the rear compression?
This maybe a better question for the s550 general forum, but can anyone explain to me what happens to the suspension when in drag strip mode that makes my car wonky in driveways or camber/tilt situations? Just want to make sure I'm not harming anything and I have yet to find what is going on...
Inching up on my first service and undecided on where to go. I want to go the the closest dealer but that is where I first ordered and then cancelled my order. Maybe that won't matter on the service side? Or, would I be better off just finding another Ford dealership top go to?
