I actually like that there is no forced induction. You don't need it on the track while the car is revving over 7K all day long. And I'm not racing anyone on public roads where I enjoy the twisty roads. I'm happy for now after 10 months of ownership.

3800 miles, 3 track days, just did second oil change(motorcraft). Doesn't seem to burn oil, I never added any and I check it often.

I was just at WG Sept 22 and 23 as a novice. Loved the car on the track. Glad to see I'm not the only one bouncing it off the rev-limiter. I have Hankook RS4 and P51 wheels.

2018 GT350 with 3000 miles on her. Did first oil change with 1200 miles. Upcoming 2 day HPDE at novice level. Would you change oil before the 2 day event, only 1800 miles on the oil. Or do it after? Would you bleed the breaks before? 6 month old car with 3000 miles (novice driver)? Thanks

Just got a couple "chips" in my self healing XPEL at track on monday. I don't think those are going to "heal". I believe just superficial scrapes heal.

I always leave it on digital speedometer. It's always there when I start her up.

Maybe. Or it could just be that if the engine is going to fail it will fail sooner than later, which makes sense if there is a weak point.

Just turned 1000 miles on mine and getting oil changed tomorrow. Only thing that has caught my attention is a consistent valve clatter at light throttle until it gets warmed up all the way to 200 degrees. Wonder if that is a warning sign? Time will tell.

Do your lift jack pads have a slit in them to not put all the pressure on the pinch welds? Or is all the weight supported by the pinch welds themselves?

I did try searching and am still confused. I'm a novice with 3 prior HPDE events in my M4. GT350 now. I'am getting the P51 size 11, 11.5 wheels, direct bolt on. I don't want to deal with spacers. Probably will use them 90% of time for track only. Tire options are limited in staggered...

Good stuff on this blog for a newbie like myself. How easy is it to DIY the brake pad change? Any videos out there?

I drove RE-11s on my M4 at the track after doing HPDE on the stock pilots. They were much better than the BMW pilot SS that came with the car. The BMW pilot ss had a lot of chunking on the outer edges of the tires and felt softer on tight turns.

That'll buff out. Seriously, I would replace with the same because of cost. Chances are it'll happen again.

Thanks I'm not too concerned and not that surprised that this could happen at a dealership. I saw them do it at a different place when they wanted to show me the interior but they had disconnected the battery.

I have owned my 2018 GT350 for 1 month and have 150 miles. Noticed that the Handle cap that covers the driver side door keyhole was loose. I jiggled it and it came right off. Tabs look chipped. I'm surprised it hadn't fallen off when driving. I texted the dealer and they seem to be...
