Is this the same bucking issue that's been going on since 2015? I believe the answer is to let the clutch out and then press the gas pedal. Doesn't the car hang the idle a little in between gears to make it easier for you? If you start to give it gas it seems like it screws up the computer if...
On my 2017 which I think had the same tires I got about 15,000 miles out of the back tires and I didn't do any burnouts. I swear the rubber they put on factory tires is subpar to the ones you buy in the store.
I have owned many cars over the years and several Mustangs all of which were easier to drive than the 2017 stock or modified like I have it now. My other Mustang is supercharged and has a lot more horsepower many more mods. It has a Spec stage 3 plus clutch and it's still releases better than...
I let a friend drive my car. It was his first time with this generation Mustang but he had owned Mustangs himself of the prior generation and he did the exact same thing with the Bucking. It's definitely not user error and user smoothness does help reduce the effect of whatever is going on but...
I've owned many cars and have to say it has nothing to do with people's driving. It has to do with the car. I agree you can drive it smooth if you are Mindful and drive it a specific way. And on another note I have to say this is the first car and newest car I've owned where you had to be...
I have a 2017 GT with 14k miles and have the clunking and the Bucking. These are the mods I did that didn't fix anything:
- BMR cradle bushing lock- out kit
- Steed sub frame alignment kit
- Steed differential aluminum bushing inserts
- Steeds sport lowering springs
- rear control arm...
So if I have ARP wheel studs on front and rear I can run 19x10 aftermarket PP Wheels on the front and rear with a spacer a little bigger than 5 mm on front and nothing on back?
All my Steeda and BMR parts I installed performed as expected. Car handles great. I still have hop though like many others. It takes more than just a couple parts. To comment on Bias ply tires fixing the problem, I have to say it would probably make my car handle like poo.
I remember taking my car for a test drive when I bought it. I thought something was broken in the rear end because it would buck/bounce when letting out the clutch. Just felt like a lot of rubber flexing. They assured me everything was good.? I guess going from a live axle to independent...
I bet you something is still moving with the rear suspension. I Have a '17GT pp and couldn't stand how rubberbandish the rear suspension felt. I have installed Steeda Sport springs, LCA spherical bearings, BMR cb005 Cradle lockout kit, steeda sub frame alignment kit, Steeda 555-4440 aluminum...
So from what I understand you need a computer programmer to alter the computer to accept a rev matching option then the actual rev-match program needs to be installed and a few sensors like a gear position sensor? Wish it was a kit you could buy from Ford.
