The shop that is currently trying to install my head unit is having problems getting the steering wheel controls working. The head unit is a Kenwood Excelon DNX696S and they are using a Metra 99-5838CH install kit. I was wondering if anyone has ever got the steering wheel controls to work with...
I just want to update this. Steeda was very quick to address the problem. They sent me the new mount, no questions asked. I got it installed and all is right with the world again
About 9 months ago I installed a complete Steeda/BMR suspension. I used the Steeda Pro Action struts/shocks along with their rear billet mounts. In the last 3 months or so it's developed a rattle in the right rear. At first I thought it was the usual airbag or trunk key receiver mount noise...
I noticed only about a 4 degree drop in IAT but, it takes longer for it to get heatsoaked and cools back down quicker than the open box. As for noise, it's just like an OEM box.
Yes they did, 1318-9643HC-S. ou'll have to call their 1-800 number to order though. On their website, open the install PDF for any CAI. At the beginning there is a parts list and a phone number to call if anything is missing. That's the number to call.
I don't know if this has ever been discussed here before but, here I go. I had to get a replacement air box lid for a 2018 5.0 Roush CAI. After talking with the sales rep at Roush I found that the lower air box p/n is the same for all 3.7 and 5.0 cai's back to 2015. So, the lid from the newer...
I would be real careful using just spray detailer and a microfiber. These things are so delicate that the dust mixed with spay will scratch the panel! I just wash the car and use a light coat of wax each week.
I'm kind of in the same boat. I want to go with 3.73's. I'm sure the parts will physically fit the aluminium housing used in the automatics with 3.15's. And, an automatic hits a little softer than a manual when you dump the clutch but, will it be strong enough to handle the extra torque load...
Thanks Blue. Like I said it corners really well ( neutral at enty and a little oversteer on exit) and feels great on the street. Close to Ford's track specs is an unexpected plus! It's nice to get something once in a while that I wasn't expecting. My friend who races a pretty spece'd out Focus...
Yeah, I was more concerned with rear camber settings than anything else. I was told the rear should be less than the front. It handIes great, steers straight and corners like stink on ####. I have one of those lifetime alignments with Firestone. The tech is very good and loves to play with...
I just finished installing Steeda non-adjustable struts and shocks with BMR SP080 springs. While it was being aligned the tech f'd up his hand while trying to loosen the front strut bolts. He was using a 12" wrench after I told him he was going to need a little more leverage then that! He had to...
I would like to get a stock GT exhaust for my 2017 V6. I'm in Huntsville, AL. Anyone in that area that has one and would like to relieve them self of it,let me know.
