does the Ford Pro Cal tune really disable this? I have a really loud MBRP Race catback and it seems to have helped it a bit.....or maybe it's all in my head lol
Good idea! Maybe they can just inspect it for a second and see that it's on there properly. I installed the MBRP race catback and the Mishimoto black IC yesterday. I wanted a loud exhaust but DAMN it is loud lol. Sounds great!
Are you 100 percent positive on this? It seems like they would never in a million years be able to void my warranty with the GT350 CAI on there....this seems nitpicky to me. They would have to find a way to blame whatever went wrong in the engine to be fully related to having that CAI installed...
Thanks for all the info! Which filter is a good replacement for the GT350 filter? I just installed mine this morning but I want to know what to order to have ready for when it needs to be swapped. The GT350 filter barely fits in there as it is. Thanks!
I called MAK in Hialeah and they will install the Pro Cal Tune for $45 dollars so you can get the receipt to send to Ford Performance to maintain your warranty. They are 8-5 M-F. Sucks I don't have a day off until the 24th so I'll have to get the tune done then. Put the CAI on this morning and...
I'm gonna do it all myself and just have the FP tune done at MAK in Hialeah. I have a friend who knows one of the techs there. Planning on installing everything Sunday and getting the tune done ASAP.
You're right it does say an ASE mechanic is acceptable to be able to register the car for the warranty. Good to know! Now I just need to find someone in South Florida to do this for me. Hmmmmm...

According to the video there are a few simple cuts and a hole to be drilled to make this fit properly.
So Misty hasn't even hit 1k miles yet and I went ahead and ordered the mishimoto black IC and the FP pro cal tune w/ GT350 intake! I know this isn't anything too crazy but I'm super stoked! I'm wondering, for the tune to be verified through Ford and to maintain warranty, if it MUST be done by a...
I'm looking for someone authorized to maintain warranty with the FP tune in the Miami. Does this have to be done at a dealership? If so, does anyone have any recommendations and pricing info? I might consider having them swap the intercooler as well if it makes sense.
Thanks!
I ended up buying the Mishimoto IC (love it in black) and the Ford Performance Pro Cal tune with the intake. All I need now is a reputable authorized shop to set this up for me to retain some warranty as I haven't even hit 1,000 miles on her yet.
Yes....I ended up getting the car for $25,850+tax. The whole experience was AWFUL but I got an amazing deal on the car so I was willing to put up with them not paying my Audi off for an entire month which almost caused issues with my credit. The car is the premium edition and has the Navigation...
I see the information for the Pro Cal Tune with the filter but can the tune be purchased separately? I can't seen to find that information anywhere. And is this as easy as hooking up a laptop to the port in our car and downloading the software ourselves?
Thanks
Thanks! I'm looking into the Ford Performance tune.....do I have to take this to a Ford dealer for them to flash the ECU? Is it something I can do by myself? Also does anyone know where to get just the calibration software? I already got a really good deal on an intake so I don't need the intake...
Thanks I'll be ordering the IC soon. Did you install yours or have it installed somewhere? The bumper seems to come off fairly easy so I was going to do it myself unless there is somewhere local that doesn't charge a lot.
Hey all...I've spent a good 10 hours looking through all sorts of good information and I appreciate all of you! I live in Miami FL near Florida International University.
I'm new to Mustangs and I traded in a 2013 2.0T Audi A4 towards my 2017 Lightning Blue Ecoboost Mustang about a month ago...
