Eco and GT are both mycolor compatible. The GT350 ones are not. Speedo clusters have to be premium (15-17) i believe 18 and up are all mycolor capable if I remember correctly.
Mines a base non pp. I added the cluster and had to wire in the pp gauges. I had gt, eco and gt350 gauges I tried. All of them except for the gt350 ones have mycolor and automatically changed colors as soon as I got the cluster working.
I really cant remember but I believe I may have had to enable my color in forscan but other than that the pp gauges change color with the cluster automatically.
Both the eco and gt ones work with my color but the gt350 ones that display oil temp as well as oil pressure just stay white....(unless something has changed for 18 and newer)
Far from an expert but as far as I know there aren't different codes for the type of adapter you use as long as the adapter has the hs/ms switch whether it's a physical toggle or virtual. I dont believe bluetooth, hardwire or wi/fi make a difference other than I've also heard people say wi/fi...
Just a quick s/o to the op. This is the second item I've purchased from him and in both cases the items came packaged well and in excellent shape. Fair, honest good communication and fast shipping. Thanks again.
Just went and checked out of curiosity. With and without phone it allows me to turn 911 assist on and off. Without phone just says it will not be enabled till phone is paired. It may be a forscan issue ? Ive changed a few things using that program but I'm no expert and do not remember ever...
I always thought it had to do with the phone you had paired to the car and a setting in the sync menu. I never looked into it though mines just always been off.
Just wanted to say a quick little thank you to the OP and a side note for anyone that may be interested. Recently purchased a couple of items from this gentleman and I can say he is a genuine and honest seller. Communication was great and the items arrived packaged really well and in perfect...
Did this a while back. Believe I had to turn off a couple of features with forscan also changed the mileage in forscan. As long as you're increasing mileage on 15-17. Not very hard to do and I did it mainly for the red rev limiter...basically plug and play other than the small forscan...
