Update. They called and said my car was fixed so I went to pick it up. Replaced intake manifold for second time which cleared up the misfiring but they didnāt even address the engine tick or the slight knocking sound I get in first gear around 1200-1500 rpm coming from beneath my car.
From my research Iāve consistently found that you almost always have to use the states lemon law in which you purchased the car. Where you live, titled, tagged, and paid your home states tax doesnāt seem to matter. If someone has experienced otherwise please correct me.
Unfortunately Louisiana lemon law states that the car must be purchased in Louisiana for Louisiana lemon law to apply. The CSR was really no help and didnāt seem the least bit concerned. Brought my car in with a CEL lean bank 1. Since they have messed with it the engine is misfiring on entire...
Well they have only done 1 days worth of work in 5 weeks trying to figure out CEL and engine tick so itāll be next year before they get to the transmission issue. I called the 800# and got the regional manager involved a couple days ago. The whole situation has me disgusted honestly. Your best...
I have the same issue going on but it hasnāt even been looked at due to my car being at the dealership with engine issues on top of that for 5 weeks straight now. Did you ever get it figured out?
Just spoke to the regional manager and he informed me that I canāt do a buy back because the car was purchased in Texas. Even though it was titled in Louisiana and I paid Louisiana tax I still have to go by Texas lemon law. He pretty much told me that this can drag on forever until they find the...
Louisiana lemon law states
It has undergone repairs with at least 4 attempts to repair the same issue within 1 year of the original vehicle delivery (or during the warranty period).

It has been out of service for at least 45 days during the same period.
Car is still under warranty so it...
I definitely wouldnāt be happy with just a short block replacement. Iām at 24k miles but In Louisiana I believe you can use lemon law as long as itās under warranty. I did purchase the car in Texas but itās titled here and I had to pay Louisiana tax on it so Iām not sure about what states lemon...
Just contacted ford 800# and they basically told me that my only option was to file for a buy back. Definitely not what I wanted due to all the money Iād lose. Told her I just want my engine replaced and itāll save us both a bunch of money. She stated that probably wonāt happen. Seems pretty...
I had a lean bank 1 code and now since the dealership has had my car it is misfiring on the entire bank 1. In an entire month they check MAF, taken gas samples, replaced intake manifold, check spark plugs, and smoked tested for vacuum leaks. Manager is putting it all on ford hotline response...
2 days after getting my oil changed at the dealership Iāve been experiencing some knocking from the engine. This knock is only present around 10mph and about 1250 rpms. It is not very loud but isnāt normal. Has anybody else experienced anything similar or have a clue what would cause this?
My car is finally fixed!! Ended up being sway bar bushing which they had told me they replaced months ago but didn't. Steering wheel still a bit tight since they changed why rack and pinion but not sure if it's worth trying to get it back how it was before.
Went back to the dealership today and spoke to the manager. He pretty much admits they have no clue and are just guessing now. When I brought up the fact that it's very hard to turn my steering wheel after they changed my steering rack he simply replied "that's normal and shouldn't be a safety...
