I was having the exact same dead pedal issue. 5 revisions and they never fixed it. It would magically start working again as soon as I dipped below 2500. My idle was off also, would almost die shortly after startup. I'm glad they got you sorted, but I had to give up and try another tuner...
I've seen this referenced in a couple other threads, but no real solution. I have the Gen2R kit, and I get some belt chirp on start up. On cold starts when the idle raises I don't hear it, but when it settles down I'll get a somewhat steady chirp that will then go away after a couple minutes...
Did the installer do any of the tuning, or just VMP? I only ask because I had multiple issues with my VMP tune that they never corrected. I was in a similar situation and regretting the install. I ended up contacting Lund and they got me all squared away and I'm loving it now.
Ok, watched JLT's video and then went and checked mine. This is the old version with a slightly different filter on it. And apparently the upped the capacity. If you're filling either of these things, man, you've got some problems.
Mine:
3.0
Taken off after my VMP install. Factory intake, throttle body, fuel rails, and injectors No real idea what it's all worth, so let's go with $500 total. I'll break things up if anyone wants something individually.
Air Raid intake with the dry filter for 15-17 Mustang 5.0. Had it installed for about 10,000 miles. Still in pretty good shape though. Asking $200 shipped.
Got this in about a week ago, but wasn't able to find a way to make it work with my VMP Gen2R and JLT intake. Never even fully installed, basically like new. Asking $225 shipped.
