I've seen this referenced in a couple other threads, but no real solution. I have the Gen2R kit, and I get some belt chirp on start up. On cold starts when the idle raises I don't hear it, but when it settles down I'll get a somewhat steady chirp that will then go away after a couple minutes.
Best I can tell is something is slightly mis-aligned, but I've pulled the FEAD bracket multiple times and just can't figure it out. I used a stethoscope on every pulley and can't pinpoint the sound. Before I start guessing and shimming things, has anyone else run into this and sorted out a solution?
