It's already back at dealer. The I ran my OBD2 tool on it and I for error p0300 p0302 p0304 first time. The later only p0304.

So under 100 miles on new engine and car is throwing codes for missfire. Going back to the shop again :ford:

Any one else notice that after the engine is replaced the engine builder name is the same? Do they use the same intake manifold from the original engine or is it a coincident??

I feel your pain. This is the second time my car is at the dealer. First for oil line dripping oil and then for engine knock. I will push for extended warranty as well let's see what happens.

Do you get a loaner car while your car was being fixed? I am asking that because I did not take loaner car while my car was being fixed and Ford is willing to give me money since they would have paid me for a loaner. I was also wondering if anyone got that and maybe extended warranty as well?

It could be a small percentage of engine which have issues but only Ford knows. I installed Bob's ultimate oil separators at 400 miles thinking it would help with the longevity of the engine but knowing my luck that didn't help. Still waiting for Ford to figure out what to do.

I also experienced high oil usage (around 1qt every 800-1k miles). Engine gave in just under 7k miles now its sitting at ford dealer waiting for them to figure out what they are going to do.

Seems like I never have good luck with cars. The dealer said they would look at it on Monday and let me know.

I topped off the oil before I went on the trip ( I burn about a qurt every 800-1000 miles). Oil levels and pressure we're also good when the noise started.

Was out of state this Friday and the car started making knocking noises. Pulled car into parking lot and had it towed to a Ford dealer close to current location since I was 160 miles from home. Any one else ever had this kind of issue? Ford did oil change at 6k miles.
