Should run a stock 2015-17 than the 2018 a couple minutes apart with the same dyno. That way we can see objectively on your machine what the difference is and because why not :)
For sure the PP3 with GT350 IM is solid (guessing since I don't have it) but for the price of PP2 at levittown ford, plus the very easy and cheap install from an ASE certified tech or ford dealer (I think mine was like $200 for everything) it's really a matter of value.
PP3 cost literally 3...
If you love sport mode with the stock tune, I couldn't see why you wouldn't love it with the PP2 tune. PP2 increases hp/torque by a good bit (lots in the midrange) and there is no sacrifice to the driveability from my perspective.
I'm assuming everyone has seen this, but just in case:

Good morning!
I believe this tune should have been the factory tune from the get go.
When in normal driving, it is completely normal, like you would never know you have a tune on the car. When it sport+ mode or track, the car acts like a complete raging animal. The car will hold the gears...
Absolutely. As stated in the marketing, "CARB Certified. Best of all this stage 2 Ford Racing Power Pack with calibration is 50 State Legal under Carb EO# D-598-19."
That slamming shut sound is the throttle body ensuring gasses do not escape, I believe.
Hey all,
OK so little update:
I went on Saturday to get my new gears (3.55) and vertical links installed.
I went with J&M vertical links with the spherical bearings. I chose spherical because it is apparently the most firm option which should theoretically eliminate the most wheel hop...
I am having my local speed shop in Florida handle it but they are not buying the entire housing unit...they are buying the parts separately since it can save me a few bucks once its all done.
Parts would be FRPP 3.55 (M-4209-88355A)
Traction-LOK 34 Spline 8.8 (M-4204-M)
All the other...
With the rear 275 MPSS launching at 2k rpm the tires don't really light up that badly at all. It's mostly a couple little hops and a little spin but nothing crazy. I'm installing the steeda vertical links next week so hopefully between the steeda IRS bushing system and vertical links, we should...
Thanks for the input. I am close to pulling the trigger but the hardest part may be convincing the wife :)
Can you tell me what your RPMs are when you're at 70mph?
Thank you!
OK I thought so :)
With the 3.15 rear end, 2nd is pretty long and it definitely matters for 0-60 pulls. If 2nd ended at/near 60 (like the 3.55 auto), I think I would be ticking under 4.0
I may do a 3.55 ford performance swap so more to come on that later but I'm afraid of my highway MPG with...
I saw your build thread...looking awesome!! In regards to the time...have you tried launching it around 2k rpm or so? I think 1.5K might be the sweet spot tho so I'll have to test this sometime this week. I see that you have some serious tires on there so grip shouldn't be an issue ;)
