Hi all. Thanks. The damage was completely cosmetic. No dents - just paint. about 3 square inches top of the bumper to the bottom of the rear quarter. They did remove the bumper. I was fairly sure the antenna did not run to the bumper or body back there, so I thought maybe they had to pull a fuse...
Someone bumped into me and cause paint damage on the rear passenger quarter panel and bumper. I had the damage repaired and the repair went well, but now my HD antenna is barely working. Never had a problem before the repair. Is there any reason the repair might have caused this? I thought maybe...
I've been looking for a plug-n-play amp/speaker upgrade solution for the 9 speaker Shaker (2015) system. I don't want to change the head unit, because I don't want to lose the integration and functionality built in. However, I did find this recently...
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I have been away for about 6 weeks. You may have already gone forward with changes so this info may be old, but just in case, here is my update:

I appreciate your expertise, but here is the problem:
You go to 10 different "professionals" and you get 10 different answers all of which will cost $3000 and most of which require a complete cosmetic change to the vehicle. Installers always want to replace the head unit, all the speakers...
HextallS550 I have advised nothing. I simply detailed what I had done and the results I achieved. Since my installer is THE top professional installer in Chicago and not some random guy on a forum, I will trust his opinion.
