  1. Rotor damage - Beechmont Ford states this is normal?

I had a really dumb experience at Lebanon, granted it was several years ago, so glad to hear that they've improved. Not to hijack the thread, but the Discount Tire in West Chester is phenomenal, if you guys aren't already patrons there.
  2. Wth is up with insurance rates?

I'm 30 and pay $300 a month for my Explorer Sport and GT...... Surprisingly the Explorer is significantly more expensive than the Mustang despite identical coverage
  3. Crashed For First Time This Morning

Do you have any empirical evidence showing a higher percentage of cars with Nitto's crash versus Michelin?
  4. Boosted Tire / Suspension setup

I have 305/35/19 NT05’s on a VMP GEN3. When it’s above 85 degrees, they get decent traction rolling into first and second. Below that, hockey pucks. I swung my rear end out to the adjacent lane on the highway rolling into the throttle in 3rd gear at 2000RPM on a sunny 65 degree fall day. I’m...
  5. 2015 GT Mustang Won’t Start

Glad you got it figured out and got her moving!
  6. 2015 GT Mustang Won’t Start

Check the clutch switch. There is a very flimsy plastic switch mounted directly behind the clutch that has a plunger that is actuated when you press the clutch switch. Mine fell off once and I had to pop it back on
  7. Neighborhood Sports Cars and Muscle Cars

A bunch of late C3-Early C4 corvettes. Most actually in decent shape with historical plates driven by older folks. Neighbor across the street has a restored 50’s Bel Air. Slim pickings other than that, I occasionally see a white SN-95 cobra around. It’s a blue collar area, and I’m in my...
  8. No one likes my 2018 GT

I always find it weird that all the dodge boys cover their cars in obnoxious MOPAR stickers, vinyl, white tire lettering, and the like, yet never go above 3000 RPM
  9. Exhaust - Go cheap or pony up the cash (Corsa Sport)

I get only compliments with my MBRP Sport catback, both when I had the stock manifolds, and Off-road headers. No drone either, just pure sound
  10. Intercooler pump failure, Roush, VMP, GT500 pump.

Granted I have a VMP kit and pump, but on mine, it was going out intermittently as well, because on the wiring harness, the wire that is on the brass "ring" that attaches to one of the fuses posts was wiggling and losing contact. I soldered the wire and ring onto the fuse permanently and it was...
  11. Tires for “Road and Track”

Mine have an insane amount of grip
  12. Michelin pilot sport 4S vs Nitto nt05 vs Toyo R888R

I got the same except in 19x11 x 19x10 and I've been unable to break them loose other than a chirp from first to second. With the P-zero summers on my suspension setup, that shift would kick the ass end of my car all over the road. I would say to the OP that for straight line and street driving...
  13. Mustangs are apparently moron magnets.

It really is a thing, personally never had a problem when driving a truck or rental cars for work travel, and even in my old 99 4V (granted its black and stealthy). When I got my '17 GB, its like a bull seeing red, i get cut off or pulled out in front of on a daily basis. My theory is that them...
  14. BMR IRS Lockout and BMR Red Diff insert NVH question ???

In my experience, i did just springs and the Steeda red inserts first, and the clunking was horrendous. Whine is liveable. When I added every other IRS piece, both stayed the same. Seems to be 100% the diff bushings
  15. Awful noise when clutch pressed in 1st gear.

Same on my 2017 GTPP but it only started after diff bushings. Like mentioned, its the backlash in the rear gears
  16. Rear lca removal

I had to use a 1/2 ratchet with shallow socket, and a huge breaker bar. Its tough because of that angle that bolt is at, assuming youre talking about the bolt that goes into the LCA bushing that is being replaced. The only thing i found to work was to come out straight through the wheel well...
  17. Toyo R888R VS M CUP 2

Any negatives to running R888R on the rear only and say an NT555 or equivalent on the front like a drag radial setup?
  18. Supporting mods for LCA Bearings

Thanks, and I will probably keep them but not sure, because the amount of clunking I get at low RPM while engaging and disengaging the clutch in 1st and 2nd gear is unreal. And im still on P-zeros, i imagine with another summer tire the car would ride way better. I think the OP should definitely...
  19. TVS Recipes

Anybody using 93+Methanol Injection on a TVS?
