Curious if anyone here takes there Eco to the track?
If so have you experienced any drawbacks towards the engine?
I've taken mine to a few AutoX's and the car seems to take it just fine.
The temp gauge for the most part stays centered however the oil temp gauge seems to clime a bit. Not sure...
Just a bit of food for thought.
Right now I'm currently on the FP Tune but have been following this platform for a while and just want to throw my two cents on the Tune+ tunes and the whole "Blowing the most engines".
This was happening on the 15's and 16's a lot but I don't like that a large...
Thanks for taking the time to check out my post.
I have for sale 4 MMD Dark Gray wheels spec at 20"x8.5". They are all wrapped with Sumitomo HTR lll 255 x 35 x 20.
My car is a weekend car so they still have plenty of tread left. Tire and wheel combo have treated me well. Reason for selling is...
So I just saw a video form motorweek about BorgWarner using a ecoboost mustang for testing an electric motor to help with turbo lag from a bigger turbo. They claim the car makes more power then a GT.

Saw this and thought to share because it was interesting.
If the video doesn't show...
True but I'm planning on keeping this car till the wheels fall off. So any and all things that are worth doing to extend the longevity of the car I have no problem doing.
Have to agree with what most people on this thread said.
When I was having the Ford Dealership install my Ford Performance Tune I went to the sales department to test drive a new GT. They set me up with a pretty high spec GT. When I got on the highway and opened her up I really expected so much...
You have another vote here for FP tune. Especially for daily driving its great. Feels like an OEM quality tune just more powerful. Pulls all the way to redline and if you have the auto the trans shifting map is a lot better and when you give it the beans the shifts are harder.
So with this kit you are working on along with the HPFP upgrade, which is most definitely needed for big power, we wont have to figure out mixtures with the flex fuel kit?
So we wouldn't need different tunes for lets say E30 or full E85? Will you provide a tune that can adjust the map to the...
I have gotten it between the middle of the oil temp (12:00) to the yellow section one a spirited drive once. This was when I was completely stock. It was a hot day (it probably got into the 90's later in the day) but I drove in the morning at like 6:00 in the morning so it was probably in the...
I light of the post/poll for "Have you blown an engine? If so, what rod (cylinder) failed?" which is a great post I thought lets start another along side highlighting if your engine has been reliable, had some issues or as blown. Miles, year, engine built location and mods are also welcomed to...
